1. Adobe Fonts not activating

   When I need to activate a font from Adobe Fonts directly from Find Font context menu inside InDesign, it keeps loading indefinitely but never actually activates.

   The only solution is going to Adobe Fonts web page and activate it there.

2. Adobe 2020 Crashes with copy & paste

   Whenever I try to copy/paste small elements from adobe illustrator onto Adobe InDesign, indesign will automatically quit. If I try to recover the file after it has crashed, it crashes again...

   What is happening here? This is an ongoing issue since the update.

4. Upgrade InDesign v 15 to InDesign v 16

   I have an Adobe creative account where I worked on Indesign v 15 a few weeks ago, but for a few weeks now when Indesign v 16 appeared, I can't upgrade to the new version.
   The message is "you do not have a compatible Windows system" although my version of Windows is Windows PRO 10 version 2004.
   Why can't I upgrade?
   I am enclosing the configuration of my computer and the error message that appears to me.

6. Adobe InDesign 15.0.2 x64 too slow when opening two or more InDesign documents

   Adobe InDesign 15.0.2 x64 is too slow, when opening two or more InDesign documents.

   I work with Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1803

   Previously, I could open two or more InDesign documents without noticing any delays.

7. Master pages populate page panel in wrong order

   When dragging more than one master page to the pages panel, the masters populate in descending order instead of ascending order (for example, Masters A, B, C populate in pages panel as C, B, A.)

   I'm able to consistently replicate this error on two different computers running different versions (INDD 15.0.3 and 15.1.1)

8. I can't change dictionary settings from German

   Hi – I have tried to change my (inherited) document spelling several ways to English (UK). It's saying in the all the right places that it's English (UK) but then when I spell check the document it's showing German 2006 reform. Can anyone help me change it, or is it a bug? Thank you.

9. Type is shifting inside text box upon moving.

   I've been noticing when I use the type tool, I can fill it as normal. Style things with the appropriate fonts/colors but should I move the box it self to a new location the spacing above the font will grow or shrink and shift everything inside that text box. It almost acts like it is adjusting like it has text flow around an image feature selected. Sometimes remove all the styles then re-applying them will fix it but this is issue had been annoying me for maybe the past 2 months.

10. Error no se activa

    No se activa la opción de compartir para revisión

    y de la herramienta MANO es un problema que siempre se queda activada al seleccionarla a diferencia de Illustrator la herramienta mano al soltar la tecla se cambia a la herramienta de selección y eso es muy bueno

11. opacity

    when I change the opacity of an object, it changes the opacity of everything on the same page when viewing them. It also export the whole page in PDF to a different opacity/color compare to other pages. Please fix this bug. Thank you

12. Text formatting is lost when copy/pasting a text box to another document.

    When Copying a text box from one document to another, the formatting is lost and is highlighted red (indicating missing font?). The font changes to from Arial to Helvetica as substitution.
    Both documents are updated to the current file format.
    The box copies and pastes as a basic text frame.

    I'm able to reformat everything to match the other document, but I don't know why it's losing the formatting.
    I'm using Windows 10 Pro version 1909.

13. Adobe InDesign 2020 Super Slow

    InDesign 2020 is super slow. I cannot have two files open at the same time anymore (a problem for me). The response time between mouse clicks is up to 10-30 sec! I have moved my files to an external drive (off of the network to eliminate VPN as the problem), still no improvement. It has crashed, and when prompted I have sent a report. My program is current 15.0.2.

15. Bug: InDesign Index page ranges not working when using "Next use of Style" options

    15.0.2 x64

    Issue:

    I am trying to create index entries that include a page range (such as 26-29) instead of a single page number using paragraph styles.

    I am having trouble getting the page ranges for my indexed content to update correctly. Specifically, the index entry always only shows the first page of the range in the index pane on the first attempt.

    I can sometimes (but not always) trick it into updating the page range correctly. I attached a video of it finally working after five failed attempts.

    Here is what I tried:

    Step 1: Select the text that I want to be created as a marker, in this case, "Vacation" (by dragging the selection in the first [failed] video, and triple-clicking in the second video.)

    Step 2: Select "Next Use of Style" and use "Heading 2".

    Step 3: Click OK.

    The first attempt always displays incorrectly.
    After toggling between various Page range options, committing each one, and then toggling back to "Next use of Style," I can sometimes get a page range to appear, but it usually incorrect. An example of this behavior is illustrated in the first video when the page range shows 26-67. (It should be 26-29.)

    Video two picks up where the first one let off. I try a slew of page range options, consistently returning to "Next use of Style" and "Heading 2" until finally, the correct range appears.

    Also, if I need to nest that entry under another, the process starts all over again. :(

    UPDATE: It turns out that even the last attempt is a failure. I am posting video #3 to show which pages the styles appear, and in what order. sigh

16. No tool type disable feature. Can't close.

    Adobe Indesign 2020.

    VERY ANNOYING. I can't even close the boxes. I have to save, quit app, and open again...EVERY TIME. This includes all the tool tips.

17. indesign 16.0 - new bug - text-wrap with image not correct

    If i place an image into a frame and set text-wrap on that frame, it works correct and text breaks fine. If however i set the same text-wrap on the image (double click image or select content) instead of the frame, it will not wrap the text at the correct width. See attached screenshot.

    The values that are shown in the Text Wrap panel & also the Frame Fitting Options dialog for Crop amounts relate to the inherent image size, not to the size it appears within InDesign – that is, they refer to the image as though it were placed at 100% scale. That means it’s based on the image resolution and the scaling at which it is placed.
    To see how this works, when you place an image, just click on the document – it will come at its 100% scale. Now select the Image contents, open the Text Wrap panel, and input 30mm in one of the fields, the value will be correct. Now scale down the image contents to 50% of its size – now measure the text wrap – it will be roughly 15mm in size.

18. Messed up tags for export to epub

    The tags and classes have been suddenly and unexplicably changed around among the paragraph formats. The circles mark places where the text is just wrong and the arrows point to where the text should be (ie the format where I entered it). Super wierd.

    Might have some connection to the crashes I have had for a while when I have entered tag for export information and when trying to save the format, the whole program shut down. Not in this particular file though.

    Please unravel this mess.

    Since update, I can't move blocs with selection tool anymore ! It works with arrows and direct selection.. WTF ?

20. Open more than one InDesign file

    InDesign gets really slow after opening more than one document at a time

    The Problem ist, that the Users can open more than one but InDesign get slower an slower, till you have to wait a couple of minutes until you can work on the selected item.
    If we kill the InDesign Process via. TaskMananger an reopen the document, everythings works fine, but this can't be the final solution.
    The problem happens in aller InDesign 15 Versions.
    There ist no performance issue on the Win10 Computers. The Computer is running on 50-70%.
    Anyone got the same Problem and have a solution?
