indesign cc 2018 erratic display behaviour
Issues with linked images and vector shapes just going invisible and unselectable even though they are still in the links panel.
This bug makes it difficult to work, and leads to adding a huge number of linked images since I think they are not on the page.

underline and paragraph rules don't work
In version 13.0 can't modify the value of the line thickness, and is always the same stroke size: 1pt

Mouse Latency Issues
Indesign 13.0; macOS High Sierra 10.13; Macbook Pro 15" 2015
When using the trackpad the cursor lags even when the display mode is changed to fast. This lag is quite visible even in small size documents.

Custom page size not honored
When attempting to enter a manual page size, in this case 16mm x 16mm, typing in 16mm and then leaving the field changes it to 144mm. Every time I type and do this InDesign changes it to 144mm. Using the up/down arrow key next to the field to set it to 16mm works and the size is honored

Temp InDesign 2018 file
Temp InDesign 2018 file does not go away after closing ID file and trying to delete it, the Finder generates an error" -80" (?). By the way, what is the reason for such file to be visible at all? Why does the user even care to behold that file at all?

Measurement Label Sizing
When using multiple monitors with different display ratios, I sometimes have a problem where the measurement labels for smart guides in InDesign become unreadably small on lower-definition monitors. At 100% zoom, the font size is equivalent to 3pts and is totally useless. I would love either options to choose interface font and appearance sizing for lower resolution monitors or the ability to change the font size of the measurement labels, otherwise I am limited to which monitors I can use Adobe CC on.

When installing InDesign CS6 on (Mac OS Sierra 10.12.6) I get an error.
Tring to install InDesign CS6 and get the error attached on Screen Shot. Things I have tried, I have put the download in the trash and tried to download again, this did not work, I have also rebooted before initialization of download and install, this still does not work.

Adobe Templates - Title Blocks won't allow editing in Modern Media Kit Layout

Chic Media Kit LayoutI would like to use these Adobe templates, but the top title blocks will not allow editing. All of the other text box elements on the page react when you click on them, allowing you the opportunity to edit them. I can't seem to edit "YOUR TITLE HERE" or "MEDIA KIT 2017"
Am I missing something about how to properly edit the title blocks on those templates? I can't even click on it... no option to capture/click/highlight the "YOUR TITLE HERE" section.
Guidance is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Recent file panel
When Indesign first opens, the time stamp on the recent file is not correct. Some of the files are marked "in an hour" as when they were opened. Others are just marked as 4 hours ago.
The normal keyboard shortcut for hide does not work either on this screen.

Multiple carets flashing
As you can see on the second page of this screen clipping, there are two mouse carets. I have a fast computer, including 8 GB Ram, and this should not be happening.

Distorted Text and Graphics in high sierra
When opening a previously created file, I noticed small visual artifacts in the rendering of vector graphics in the file. As I zoomed in to inspect it, the artifacts began jumping all over the place, and as I zoomed in further, text on the page began presenting the same behavior.
Using InDesign 2017.1, Build 12.1.0.56 on a 2016 Macbook Pro (2.9 GHz Intel Core i5, 16 GB RAM), running macOS High Sierra 10.13.

218 votesThis is a macOS10.13 issue, specific for some Intel GPU cards. Apple has fixed(partially) this issue inside macOS10.13.4 released build.
Following are the workaround for resolving this issue.
1) Update your mac machine to latest macOS10.13.4. Here, Apple has fixed this issue to some extent. You will face very less number of rendering issues.
2) Disable GPU preview and set display performance as typical.Once you have updated to macOS10.13.4 .You might still face some rendering issues. Since, Apple has not fixed this issue completely.
Please switch off GPU rendering for these cases and report a separate post for tracking. -

[InCopy] is very slow with some projects, even on a very fast Computer
We often see a pretty significant drop in performance in InCopy for no apparent reason. This seems to occur on random Projects. As far as i could test there was no correlation with the number of InCopy Files or the complexity of the layout.

Paragraph Panel – Unwanted Text replacement
Please fix this bug!!!
When I go to manually change the "Space before" or "Space After", it replaces all my selected text rather than the value I have selected to change within the panel.
This is IMPOSSIBLE to work with.

When I command+W and try to scroll up and down with the arrow keyes it takes forever and its inconstant. Basically its not working at all.
I just bought the new MacBook Pro 2017 with macOS Sierra 10.12.5.I restarted laptop and it continued to make the same.

Thank you for your patience all this while.
We had launched our investigation into the matter to get to the root cause of the problem. As the part of our investigation, we had reached out to many of you personally over email.
We have concluded our investigation and have come up with few findings.1. For many of the users the issue got fixed after updating InDesign to a newer version.
2. For some, the issue got resolved after disabling a third-party application such as Suitecase fusion etc.
3. For few, the issue was intermittent and is no longer reproducible.
4. For majority of the users, the underlying cause of the performance issue was identified to be related to span columns, cross-references, third party plugin etc.We have created separated threads for these issues and we are now working towards resolving them.
