new version switches back to older version
I use InDesign for our school newsletter. I'm having issues with it switching from 2017 version to 2018 on any given day. This could be a department issue or could it be the program. Very frustrated with it at the moment. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Wacom tablet settings nonfunctional
Wacom tablet setting for InDesign CC 2019 won't show or function in the active application. The touch ring and radial menu setting do not show up. The default settings appear instead. The screen grabs demonstrate how the touch ring behaves with the four default functions; autoscroll/Zoom, Cycle Layers, Brush Size and Canvas Rotation.

Allow for updating text thread when rearranging pages.
Allow for a more efficient way to rearrange pages and page content once page layouts have been created. Currently, rearranging pages breaks numbered lists and moving text within story editor breaks the visual layout.

Problem aligning workspace elements on second screen 14.0.1
Working on a second screen with my MacBook Pro laptop, elements of the workspace are not moveable. Please see image to understand the moveable points on those tabs appear to be off-screen and are not on the laptop either. I've tried numerous workspaces, but this problem persists.

Short Cut Keys no longer work in Indesign 2019
Indesign 2019
Most of the old standard short cut keys no longer work and I cannot find anywhere what the new ones are or if I can change to a legacy mode. I'm talking basic old school short cuts like "space" to bring up the hand tool temporarily and the "shift" key to proportionately scale an object. Can anyone help me out with this as my productivity is grinding to a halt and I am not happy one bit.4 votes -
Major lagging/hanging when typing text and selecting objects
InDesign 14.0.1; Windows 10
I was experiencing some major lag when typing text, up to 30 seconds. Even when text started to appear, words would appear only one letter at a time with significant delay in between. The problem then expanded to selecting and moving objects around on a page. InDesign for me has been unusable for the past few hours (Jan. 25, 2019 from 1:30 - 4:30pm EST). I even tried reverting back to version 14.0 and had no luck. Rebooted several times. I then went into my system restore and saw that earlier today a Microsoft Visual C++…

Color Managment plugin (CS6)
Upon getting the new Apple update for the MacOS Mojave (version 10.14.2) Most of my programs from my Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection, including, but not limited to Indesign CS6 are no longer supported, do to the Update not running anything less the 64-Bit (intel).

InDesign is very slow when all or most of the fonts in the document are missing
This problem occured for the first time already in the 14.0 version and version 14.0.1 didn't fix the problem. When all the fonts or most of the fonts are missing in the document, scrolling between spreads is very, very slow. InDesign freezes for few seconds when scrolling from spread to another (see the attached video file). Please let me know if you need more details.

Random text appears in the filename field when editing filenames during Save As
- ID 14.0.1, OS 10.14.2
- Save as. When dialog appears, filename is highlighted so that it can be edited. Use RIght arrow key to put cursor at end of filename to append text.
- Expected result, which occurs about 90% of the time, is that the cursor moves to the end of the filename and you can enter text.
- Actual result, about 10% of the time, is that pressing the Right arrow key erases the entire filename in the field and replaces it with the words "Adobe Stock".

Presentation mode precision is unsatisfying!
Annoying bug, got to check each time. Export and print output is fine, but not on-screen results.

Use of CC Library Items - EPS files Export as grey boxes and are not properly linked and do not package properly
When using CC Libraries logos, those logos being used are EPS files.
Those files will export and be grey boxes as if a broken link.
Try and access said file in the CC library and sometimes work and doesnt.Also these are not collected for output and saved as EPS files when packaging.
We need to make sure the files are pulled from the CC library and included in the Package. THis would help when we send files to outside companies so they can utilize original content that has been created and put into CC Libraries.

Pasting objects from Illustrator extremelly slow
Pasting objects from Illustrator is extremelly slow for me. It takes up to 10 seconds. The issue only occurs in direction. Copying graphics from Photoshop or Powerpoint to Indesign does not produce this issue. Copy paste from Indesign to Illustrator also has no issue. I have reinstal both the latest Illustrator and Indesign CC. See the video and my system performance. Clipboard settings are set to what worked recommended and what worked for me fine on a slower machine before.

Flashing screen
When trying to open Illustrator AND InDesign, the "new document" window that automatically pops up is white and just flashes on and off the screen. If I try to click out of the screen, it closes the whole program. I can't access any of my files.

Entire page missing elements and objects, and unable to select objects
After updating to 14.0.1, I opened a project and found that one of the pages (just this one page for some reason) had missing objects, missing elements, and the objects on the page were unable to be selected unless I clicked and dragged from the outside of the page to select everything at once. The missing images showed up elsewhere in the catalog and appeared in the links panel under the correct page, but did not appear in the page. After closing and re-opening the same file in InDesign CC 2018, everything was intact and totally fine. This issue rendered…

InCopy is going SO slow it's greatly reduced our efficiency in editing magazine text. Every text box takes at least 1 whole minute to check in and out of, and even when I've opened the text box, it takes ages for me to move my cursor to make an edit. I can barely move my mouse without it freezing up. This is happening on all of our work computers and my laptop at home, so it's not an isolated issue. Also three of our computers are brand-new and those computers are also having the same issues with InCopy. This started…
