ruler guide disappears when deselecting
When dragging a new ruler guide, it disappears after deselecting it. This only occurs when you've placed it on a major gridline.

bug report normal view – preview
- InDesign 15.0.1 x64
- press »W« while document is opened
- text on page shoud be eaqual in preview and normal view
- text in preview and normal view are not eaqual. (Text and formats were not adjusted between the view changes.)

Background colour is being adding to table when I go to edit
Since Indesign 2020 installation in July when I go to edit in a table that has colored borders, this colour then appears in the background and it is hard to make changes as you can't read the text.
How can I stop this happening?

Save functions unavailable
I'm using a Mac and running Catalina, have ID 2020. Yesterday, an existing file of 33 pages stopped allowing me to save it. I had no idea it wasn't saving and lost hours worth of work by the time I realized what was happening. I tried starting a new document and pasting the text into it, but same problem. I started a new document again and it allowed me to save immediately, but the second I dropped in text (different text this time), I lost the ability to save the file. I can export to PDF or IDML, but cannot…

Pages palette bug
Hello,
You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.

Page numbering logic
I don't get why the logic of page numbering is that complicaded in InDesign.
imagen you would like to show the number of the current and the previous page on the same page.
You can not simply put those varibles form Markers, saying Current Page Number an Next Page Number on the same page. – That would give you twice the Current Page Number.
Current Solution: You have to write them into two conected Text fields, which are supposed to be ob bouth pages, that you want to put a number on.here my idea:

Settings for Dictionary gets reset again all the time.
I am using "Deutsch Rechtschreibereform 2006" and it gets reset to "Deutsch Rechtschreibeversion 1996". Also the ""-Setting below will be changed.1 vote -
Master Items misssing when used based on page
Using Windows 7 or Mac OS no matter even it's in preview Indesign CC.
I found this and very annoying to fix it manually in master page items.
Steps Created Master Page A for body text pages
Created master Page B: As a chapter opener. It's based on Master A. Only removed top running header.Now applied in pages:
Left side page : Master Page A.
Right side page chapter opener and applied Master Page BResult: Part of Running Header is disappear in Left Side Page, right side page ok as is.

Multiple spaces between words
No idea just a simple bug report, but first your system places multiple adds in the process of getting to this point. Second I'm not interested in playing games with your process, I do not have time. NOW, here is the problem:
While copying text from https://www.easa.europa.eu/sites/default/files/dfu/EasyAccessRules_for_AirOperations-Oct2019.pdf on the while on the internet and pasting into InDesign I get one or two spaces between the words. I then have to remove the spaces manually. I'm working with a lot of information and do not need to take the time removing the spaces.

refresh all stories not working correctly
InDesign 2020 v15.0.3 running on Mac Catalina.
When I type command-option-/ to refresh stories the refresh seems to go into a toggle mode swapping back and forward between correct and incorrect layouts. Very difficult to know if the correct version is working. Similar to the 2017 bug where table headers disappeared but even WORSE as the usual fix does not work consistently. Have to manually check EVERY page of document before sending to client as layout goes crazy.1 vote -
Source Serif Pro font baseline not consistent
I'm using Indesign 15.0 on MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012) running Mojave version 10.14.6
I'm experiencing a bug with the Source Serif Pro font , which I use extensively in a particular project.
I open an existing document, and the text in Source Serif Pro looks as you'd expect it to. When I start to edit the text however, it all jumps down as if the baseline settings of the text frame has been changed (although checking in the settings confirms they haven't been).
Copying and pasting the frame, or the text into a new frame, doesn't help.

New Document Window Zoomed/Cropped
New document window opens zoomed in.
Some options for opening a document (right hand side) are not visible and can't be selected as they are off-screen.

Can't share from Adobe Comp CC on the iPad (which is the whole reason I signed up for a trial)
Sharing to InDesign causes Comp CC to Crash! The whole reason I signed up for the InDesign trial is to see how it works with Comp. Please fix or extend my trial until this has ben handled!

IND 15.0.3 - Will not load text on first opening
Ever since last upgrade to 15.0.3, on the first opening of a file it will either not load the text, or load corrupted text. This is happening to two workers on two different MACs at two different locations within our team. Driving us crazy, having to close and open a file twice in order for it to open properly.

inserting page
I'm working on a document which is around 100 pages. so far i was able to insert pages or a spread to the document without any issue but since yesterday, if i'm tryint to insert a page, its getting inserted not in the line of the spread but away from it.
I'm not sure if the problem is understandable, so i am attaching a few screenshots.
Asked around to a few colleagues, but no one has faced such issue before.1 vote -
Moving pages cause the shift of the pages moved
Is a big problem: when moving pages from different Documents with the same options, master pages and Layouts the pages moved are shifted (to the left or to the right).
I've made an Example in the attached Files.
1.png shows the way I move the last two pages of the document to the other document (identical copy of the same file).
2.png shows the pages moved in the second document (they should be the same but the imported ones are shifted by a few millimeters).

Go to page doesn't accept RTL number on mac
I work with Persian keyboard and when I press Cmd + J to go to a page, then entering the page number, because the keyboard is Persian it types Persian numbers, but ID doesn't accept the number and can't find the page I want!
