Please stop ID files flying back open from the dock (Mac)
When I've minimised an ID file in the dock (on the Mac), work on something else and then close it, the minimised file flies back open. Or minimising a file, then opening something else, the minimised doc opens up again and comes to the front. Please make any minimised doc stay there, until I call it back. I know it's there, I put it there for a reason.

Please fix text boxes after accepting a PDF comment
When importing PDF comments and accepting the markup/comment, the text box becomes unresponsive until you click off and back on multiple times. This has been an unaddressed bug for years. I am working on a catalogue with over 1,000 comments, this is going to double the time it takes to work on each page. Please fix this bug

Add Basque - Euskera Dictionary in Indesign default Dictionaries
Add Basque - Euskera Dictionary in Indesign default Dictionaries, There are a lot of user manually doing Hypen.
We have the Hunspell Dictionary and we have been using it adding the .aff and .dic files that have worked until the 2020 version of Adobe Indesign but are no longer valid in later versions. Please share how to add hunspell dictionaries in new versions or add basque to indesgn´s default dictionaries. Thanks,.1 vote -
[Scripting] Edit QR Code
It would be good if we could read the contents of an Indesign-generated QR Code via script.
Currently it is possible to read the contents by exporting the QRCode graphic as a snippet and reading the XML. We see this:
<PlainTextQRCode Self="ueb" PlainText="https://adobe.com"> <Properties> <QrCodeSwatch type="string">Black</QrCodeSwatch> </Properties> </PlainTextQRCode>but this is an obscure and time consuming approach and it would be sensible to be able to derive the "https://adobe.com" value directly via the scripting API, and ideally change it—causing the QR Code to regenerate.
I'm not sure how best to implement... maybe a new method: Graphic.getQRCodePlainTextContents() and Graphic.setQRCodePlainTextContents(myString)…

Please remove the text (GPU Preview) in the name tabs.
They take up needed space if you have several files open. I know I can turn it off if I turn off GPU but would rather not.

Button to uniform Master page(s) margins to the whole Document margins
In the Layout/Margins and Coloumns window menu when I have selected a Master Page, I find no way to re-uniform the margins to the original margins set for the entire document. This would be a useful feature: when I changed the format adding 4mm to my 17x24 cm to be 17x24,4cm as the standard used by Amazon kdp for paper format, I would like to preserve the preceding paging by adding 2 mm to the inferior and superior margins. I did it in the menu File/set document for the whole document, but I saw my pages did not update since…

Export Adobe PDF - General - Pages - "Current Page" only.
Each time I want to export just one page from one Indesign document I have to type the page number. There should be an option "Current Page" not only "All" and "Range"1 vote -
Check GenAI Images in Preflight
Add GenAI images to Preflight profiles. This is especially important since GenAI images default to saving to the user's computer, which is not ideal in a collaborative environment where other users will see broken links.

Color Swatch Info
Please add the Color Swatch Info creation feature from Illustrator to InDesign. Not sure why this wasn't added along with the Illustrator one? It would be extremely useful in both apps, since InDesign is also used to create styleguides.

New utility feature called: "Move Link(s) To...".
It would be great to have another utilities feature called: Move Link(s) To...
Ideally it would function the same as Copy Link(s) To... but instead of copying it would just move the files.
This would allow for a cleaner file setup where you can move all your files from a document into one location without packaging and having the files as duplicates on your computer.

Please Make cells split over 2 pages like they do in Word. We publish very large books that are updated all the time, having to manually cut cells at every page is an unimaginably heavy work load! And it is wasted work. It has to be redone every edition!

Custom organization of links panel
Options within Links Panel to sort links not by name/page/location folder, but into custom folders or priority. Allow users to place links at the top that are changed or edited more frequently. Current issue is job requires me to change multiple logo files spread throughout document quickly. If multiple instances are grouped, sorting by layer does not work and layer will also sort by layer name and not top layer. Letting users set priority status to links or create & name custom folders within the links panel can help find things quickly.

J'aimerais que la fonction de Nouvel article puisse se donner à un Style de paragraphe, ainsi on évite de créer un nouvel article à la main en début de chapitre quand on fait un livre. Cela nous faciliterait la tâche lorsqu'un manuscrit inséré en un article complet comporte plusieurs chapitre et que les notes de fins doivent débuter à un à chaque article. Présentement il faut couper l'article manuellement à la fin de chaque chapitre. Change hypenation-language for all text frames at the same time
I would like to select all text frames on one page and change the (hypenation-)language for all of them at the same time. This would save a lot of time when working with seveal languages in the same document.
I know, that I can add new paragraph styles with the corresponding language setting. But that takes way too much time. In our documents, each language has its own layer.1 vote -
