An error occurred while saving the comment Francis Brown commentedThis feature should be added, the workaround is fine, but cumbersome and does not work if a paragraph is split in 2 or more text frames.

An error occurred while saving the comment Francis Brown commentedThis has been around for a while, and it's easy to miss it until the production is almost done.
A workaround to this is to find all nonbreaking hyphen by searching for ^~ in Microsoft Word and replacing it by a regular hyphen prior to importing your document.
But this needs to be fixed soon. If you don't catch it soon enough in the production, you have to manually add every dropped hyphen and it can be a major time concern.

Hi everyone,
You can easily change text cases with just a few clicks, ensuring consistency across your designs. This feature streamlines text editing, saving you time and effort. Enhance your workflow by adjusting text case quickly from the Text or GREP tabs of the Find/Change panel. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.5.0.084)

Hi All,
Can you explain how this would be used, is the end goal to find a some stuff restricting the search to Tables, or is it something else. It would really help if you can share how you plan to use this new GREP code for tables.
Thanks

I would loooove an option to do this. Editing multiple styles should not be this tedious. For instance, if I want to change the Paragraph Shading color of multiple styles I have to navigate to "Paragraph Styles Options / Paragraph Shading / Select color from Dropdown / OK", then re-navigate there for each style i want to change.
