In a Bulleted list as shown in the video, Left Indent and First Line Left Indent is typically used.
Why is "Indent to Here" being used in a Bulleted list?

I've provided a VBScript example to give a clearer example, but this is not something you would run from the Script panel (there is no problem if you run it from the Script panel).
When running from outside InDesign. This means that all programs that use VBA, Python, or other COM objects to interact with InDesign externally are affected.CS5 omachi shared this idea · -

This issue has been resolved in the latest version of InDesign 2024(v19.0). Please update to this version of InDesign from Creative Cloud Desktop application to get the fix.

With InDesign 19.5 release, Swatches will always get Synchronized when Object Styles/Paragraph Styles/Character Styles are selected in the Synchronize Options dialog.
It has also been mentioned as one of the Fixed issues on https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.html

This issue has been fixed in the latest release of InDesign - version 18.5 that has just been made available publicly.

This is an issue with the bullet character (U+2022) of the Futura PT font family installed from Adobe Fonts. No problem occurs with asterisk (U+002A).
Bullet character of the Futura PT is 1em wide.
