This should be converted to U+005C.
The Windows version correctly converts to U+005C.
The Mac version incorrectly converts to U+00A5.

Widows版は正常にU+005Cに変換されます。

This bug is expected to occur not only in the Japanese version but also across all language versions.
この不具合は日本語版だけではなく、全言語版で発生するはずです。

The fix of the issue is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.5.0.084). We recommend you upgrade to the latest version for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to the Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

In InDesign 2023 (18.5.0)
The issue still hasn't been resolved.
This problem initially arose in CC2014 (10), and by that time, the defect was already present.app.typeContextualUiPrefs.showFractionsUi = true;

The synchronization feature requires careful consideration and judgment before being executed. It should not be something that can be easily executed with just a button click. This button is recognized by InDesign users as the “sync bomb” button, and is therefore wrongly designed in terms of UI. We would appreciate it if you could remove this button.

同期機能は、慎重な考慮と判断を経て実行される必要があります。ただ単にボタンをクリックするだけで簡単に実行されて良いものではありません。このボタンはInDesignユーザーから同期爆弾ボタンとして認識されています。そのため、UI設計として誤っています。このボタンを削除していただけるとありがたいです。monokano

私も下線が段落先頭のアキ量で非表示にされるのを望みます。
アキ量は「indd上でグリフ幅の一部と見なされる」という前提があり、下線が表示されるのはその前提に則っているからでしょう。しかし、段落先頭のアキ量は、そこがグリフ幅の一部であるとは誰も認識していません。段落先頭のアキ量だけは例外として下線が表示されない方が望ましく、下線が表示されなくても不都合は全くないでしょう。
下線の他に「打ち消し線」も同様に、段落先頭のアキ量で非表示にされるべきです。

For macOS, this method may correct the problem.
1. Quit InDesign.
2. Go to User > Library > Caches.
3. Search for “indesign” and select and delete all of them if detected. -
