An error occurred while saving the comment Diane Burns commentedHere is a comment from Adobe forums by @richardspensley who is with the internal design studio of the Auckland Council in New Zealand that outlines yet another use case for needing to make a separate PDF available for download from a Publish Online document:
"As a local government organisation, keeping publishing costs down and reducing the need for print, as well as being able to tell the stories in more engaging ways is very important. I would echo debbiea37325331's question and comments about accessibility, as it is important for a local government organisation to meet accessibility standards and so it would be great if it was possible to build some kind of accessible feature into the Publish Online tool, even if that was just an accessible link to download a user-selected accessible PDF, rather than the auto-generated PDF from the upload tool."

Thank you for reporting the issue. We need some information around the issue which may help us in narrowing down the root cause:
1. Does it happen with the latest InDesign version 14.0.1 ?
2. Is it document specific or happens with all the documents with PDF download capability ?
3. Which type of accounts are you using : Paid or Trial or something else ?
4. Please specify your Platform, OS version and Browser informationA short video depicting the issue will be very helpful
An error occurred while saving the comment Diane Burns commentedTo add to Jake's comment posted April 16, 2019:
Please see his example at
https://indd.adobe.com/view/d0302f86-52bc-4692-9330-b71ee7b1ecd0.
Click on "Washdown System."
Next click on either of the "SDS" buttons.
In Safari or Firefox (Mac) the linked PDF displays. In Chrome, the user sees only a blank page.
This means Jake could not use Publish Online for this project and had to go to a third party solution. Otherwise, Publish Online would have worked well.Diane Burns supported this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment Diane Burns commentedI'm just curious. What are you calling the navigation button? There are navigation arrows on either side of the screen, but they are not animated. Thanks.

The PDF from the file is fine. But anytime you apply the WR Composer, the hyperlinks break in Publish Online.

Agree. This should be put back ASAP. Hard to understand why it was removed.
