Where has Package gone?
Shift Option Command P was not working, so I went to File: Package, and it's gone. I have restarted InDesign, restarted my computer, as well as tossed my preferences. I am using InDesign 15.1.1 on OS 10.14.6. Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

No visable PDF comments in PDF Comments Window

31.8.2020 The problem exist also in New-File Window: only the black window, one can see in the attachment
After importing the comments from a PDF file there is nothing in the PDF Comments Window. Although the comments are visable in main text, I cannot accept them in PDF comments windows, because I don't see them there.
I have the same problem with the main InDesign window: when no file is opened, I see only black flat, no icons of previously opened files, as it was in previous versions...

We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.

PDF Export issues when INDD contains large EPS file
Using InDesign CC 2020 ver 15.1.1
Exporting an INDD file that contains a link to an EPS image that is 26.8MB. The image is used on multiple occasions through out the piece.
Would expect a PDF on Smallest File Size preset to be smaller than a PDF created at Press Quality preset.
No special steps reproduce this, simply export to PDF using the presets. Did not adjust the downsampling sizes. But when I did this didn't solve the issue.
The reality was that exporting a PDF on Press Quality comes out at 37.6MB and on Smallest File Size is 56.3MB.

Exporting Indd document to PDF > window only partly visible (4K monitor)
When exporting a document via File > Adobe PDF Presets > Export to PDF on a 4K monitor, the window is only partly visible. I cannot change the settings because I only see the bottom part of the window. See Screen shot.

Using arrow keys to move multiple objects no longer works. I get an error message about scaling... huh?
Arrow keys no longer work for nudging object position.

export to PDF
Indesign version latest version (July 13, 2020) is not exporting to PDF, neigther interactive or print.

Tab Palette
The magnet in the Tab Palette goes to the beginning of the text field. When the text field is too large, it should be able to go to the beginning of the selected text when the text field does not fit on the screen.

missing links in books
When printing or exporting books to pdf InDesign tells me where to find text overflows. But missing or changed links are only mentioned as "there is a missing link somewhere in this document".

Kerning (spacing) issue with small caps active
There's an annoying issue with kerning (or in general with characters spacing) on characters without small caps when small caps is active on preceding characters.
This appens randomly on a full text document but seems always with text imported from Word.
The strange thing is that if I deactivate small caps from only a white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear. Likewise if I deactivate small caps from preceding word but keep it in the white space before the badly spaced text, the problem disappear again. [bug] UI won’t show up although app seems to have launched successfully
macOS Catalina 10.15.5
MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019)Nothing appears when I create a new document or open one. The app seems to be working though because it keeps adding a numeric increment every time I create a new file. InDesign is updated to latest build. Please advise.

인디자인 cc로 업데이트 한후 탐색기나 브릿지에서 이미지를 가지고 올때 드래그가 안되는 현상이 가끔 발생합니다. 너무 불편합니다. 문제 해결좀 해주세요.

caption
When using the ‘generate live caption’ -and i read more than one data-field- the caption is placed over several paragraphs.
When this is used in combination with numbering paragraphs (to auto number the pictures) every line gets a new number e.g.So this is a pretty useless option right now, I have no idea how to fix this…

Intraktive Felder
Bugs in den Fomularfelder.
Schriftgrad steht auf automatisch. Wenn daraus ein Interaktives PDF generiere wird, wird der Text beim überlaufen das Feldes nicht kleiner wie es eigentlich sein sollte, sondern der Text läuft weiter und ist dann nicht mehr zu sehen!
So kann die neue 15.1 x64 Version nicht verwenden werden!1 vote -
Pages palette bug
Hello,
You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.

BUG - 15.1.1 - Mac/PC - text threads don't display
On both Mac and PC, the 15.1.1 version doesn't display text frame threads.
When I create a new doc, threaded text frames DO show the threads. But when I open pre-existing documents, threads don't show at all. I've confirmed this behavior with a few other people, on both OS platforms. I'm running on Win10/64, [Version 10.0.18363.836]. The Mac users were on very recent OS's.

Animation issue on page load
Hi,
The issue is in the attached document.
This problem is there for the CC 2018-2019 & 2020 Versions.
Not sure why its taking years to fix this. Hope it will be addressed soon.Best Regards

Native support for table formulas in InDesign
I have found countless workarounds for scripts that support formulas in InDesign, but how is this not a native tool?

PDF export preferences: document-based, not application-based
So I'm working on 3 Indd documents. On one of them, I need a PDF of page 4 only. The preferences are reset for all 3 documents to output only page 4. Why should I have to remember to reset the output for ALL 3 to All Pages? Shouldn't this be a document-based preference, not an application-based one?
