AdobeFnt.lst automatically reappears after deleting
InDesign version: 15.0.2
Suddenly (after the latest March 2020 InDesign update?) the AdobeFont.lst file created with InDesign packages automatically shows up with folder structure after deleting a package. This is really aggravating for file management. It's as if my team can't fully delete InDesign packages. This is happening with multiple InDesign files on multiple machines.
As confirmed by multiple users, this issue is fixed in latest version of InDesign.
Thanks for your feedback.

Also having this problem and it is VERY frustrating.
WFH and doing a lot of file management and the phantom folder bug is not helping.Spell Check also not working.

Just install the previous InDesign 15.0.1 with your Creative Cloud app (three-dots menu, install other versions) until the issue is fixed, your current preferences are saved.

Quite annoying. I am experiencing the same here. Keep on deleting the folders, and they re-appear as soon i open InDesign again.

Ghost folders being created - Adobe unable to keep pace with Apple OS updates - garbage programming.

This bug is the most annoying, especially when working within a Box Sync setting with many freelancers working on the same files over the course of a week. THings are getting inundated with duplicated folders, please fix this ASAP

Everything i've sent to output has produced several reappearing folders...
the other day i was so inundated with them that I wound up tossing out a folder i needed...
PLEASE fix this bug it's super annoying and if you are super busy and in the fast lane going 100mph on a daily basis you are going to toss away something you may need... -

Same issue here at our newspaper. Causing havoc with our normal workflow......and at a terrible time for there to be an issue.

Please hurry up and fix this bug, clearly it's happening to everyone using indesign. Super frustrating especially when you are creating multiple assets a day. I have 1 folder with 10 ghost folders and its driving me mad deleting them every 2 seconds.

Update, if it helps, in my experience: that folder doesn't reappear until the next time you open an InDesign file. At that point, all the deleted packages reappear with their Document Fonts > AdobeFnt21.lst for each. Quitting and restarting InDesign "breaks the chain" and those folders don't come back when you open another file, but nobody wants to quit and restart the app every time you want a deleted folder to stay deleted of course.

I have the same problem and am very worried about inadvertently overwriting the correct folder WITH all files intact. These phantom folders just have empty folders ....

Id 15.0.2
W10Apparently I have the same issue that I thought initially was linked to the use of Google Drive Stream: once you use the new package, the AdobeFntxx will get added over and over, taking all the resources of the system (so you hardly can work on Id itself) until few minutes later you decide to quit the job and you find out you have 750 AdobeFnt files created in your folder. Happens differently on OneDrive: will not create multiple files, but will keep updating/syncing the file, using the overall bandwidth similarly.
Hope this can be resolved soon! -

Indesign: 15.0.2
OS: Catalina 10.15.3The same thing happens to me. I package a file and then move it from my desktop to the appropriate folder and then another folder appears on my desktop that looks like the one I moved but It only contains a Document Fonts folder that with AdobeFnt21.lst in it.
If I trash it it just reappears over and over.
See attached screenshot.
