    As confirmed by multiple users, this issue is fixed in latest version of InDesign.

    Update, if it helps, in my experience: that folder doesn't reappear until the next time you open an InDesign file. At that point, all the deleted packages reappear with their Document Fonts > AdobeFnt21.lst for each. Quitting and restarting InDesign "breaks the chain" and those folders don't come back when you open another file, but nobody wants to quit and restart the app every time you want a deleted folder to stay deleted of course.

    Same here. I trash the packaged files and the outer folder along with the inner "Document fonts" folder with the AdobeFnt21.lst file in it returns. Mac Catalina running InDesign 15.0.2.
