   Turn this OFF as a default install feature, it's ridiculous.

   As confirmed by multiple users, this issue is fixed in latest version of InDesign.

   Also having this problem and it is VERY frustrating.
   WFH and doing a lot of file management and the phantom folder bug is not helping.

   Spell Check also not working.
