AdobeFnt.lst automatically reappears after deleting
InDesign version: 15.0.2
Suddenly (after the latest March 2020 InDesign update?) the AdobeFont.lst file created with InDesign packages automatically shows up with folder structure after deleting a package. This is really aggravating for file management. It's as if my team can't fully delete InDesign packages. This is happening with multiple InDesign files on multiple machines.
As confirmed by multiple users, this issue is fixed in latest version of InDesign.
Thanks for your feedback.

I have also been experiencing this problem of file duplication after throwing it away. It keeps doing it and it gets so confusing where I have accidentally thrown out files that I needed. Also, my spell check is not working either. Please fix ASAP.

I am having this issue as well. Here is how I am experiencing it:
• I package a file from InDesign to my Desktop
• I then move the packaged folder to my external Hard Drive and then send the file on the Desktop to "Trash" on my computer
• The next time I package a project to my desktop (doesn't matter what the project is, can be completely different or the same one) the folder I had deleted previously reappears onto my desktop, but only with the "Fonts" folder, and it doesn't seem to have any of the actual fonts in it.
• Problem stops if you restart InDesign, but it is really REALLY annoying. -

additionally! it seems to happen more often when I change the name of the document or package folder. regardless of what I "should" do, it's a requirement of my workflow.

I'm on InDesign 15.02, in Mojave 10.14.6. After I have initially packaged an indesign file, InDesign is automatically generating new packaged folders for those files with only font folders inside of them. as soon as I throw those bogus folders in the trash, a new folder is generated. I've put them all in a folder to do a count: there's 324 garbage items generated in 3 days.
I am doing many versions of many files at a fast pace and do not have time to be hunting around for which folder is the real one. -

Hi together,
as far as I can tell this issue seems to be fixed on Prerelease.
I tested with the latest German prerelease version of InDesign on Windows 10.Regards,

Can you somehow notify us when there's a solution? This is a mess.

I was wondering why nobody who is experiencing this bug as "horrible", "frustating", "nightmare", or other qualifications installs the previous 15.0.1 version until it is fixed in 15.0.3. It takes a minute to revert back to 15.0.1, preferences are saved, 100% compatibility with documents. After a couple of days experiencing this bug I reverted back, and no issues anymore.

We are also experiencing this very annoying and dangerous issue. This only happens when you are collecting fonts which creates the AdobeFnt21.lst list. Our designers could quite easily dump the wrong folder when trying to clean up these bug generated folders. Please fix this Adobe.

Has anyone noticed that the latest version of InDesign 2020 (15.0.2) is recreating extra folders after files have been packaged with images and fonts?
The issue occurred as soon as I opened that InDesign file once again. After doing this, a new folder (same name as the packaged material) reappeared in the 'work' desktop folder.
It only contains only the Document Fonts folder, so no duplicate Links or a copy of the InDesign files itself. Weird behaviour -

Why has "my" bug (originally https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/40087564-adobefnt-lst-empty-when-creating-package) been merged with this one? Having empty lst files (my bug) is not the same as having them reappearing (this bug)!

I'm having the same issue - deleted old packaged file reappears with just the font folder and AdobeFnt21.lst over and over and over, about every 15 minutes. PLEASE FIX THIS HORRIBLE BUG ASAP

I'm having to move files to trash and empty immediately, but that doesn't even work all the time. Also relaunching Finder periodically or full on shut down/reboot. Very real issue.
