2. Color changes when overprint preview is switched on.

   Hi,

   With the latest version of InDesign v16.0.1 running on macOS Catalina, a strange phenomenon appeared. When "Overprint Preview" in switched on displayed colors change. Oranges become reddish. When the images/vector graphics are checked in Photoshop or Illustrator they look OK.

   When Overprint Preview is OFF, colors are displayed correctly. But when OP is turned on, they change. Most drastic change takes place in the orange-red region.

4. text frame anchored causes ID to hang

   I have a text frame (with text wrap, and also an inline image) anchored to a line of text in the main story.

   When I adjust this frame while it is still anchored, it causes ID 16.0.1 to hang. This is the same behaviour as in versions before. No crash report because of ID 'just hanging'. The fix is force quitting.

   macOS 11.0.1. This was also happening with earlier versions of macOS.
   The remedy is: 'Free' anchored object, make adjustments, and re-anchore the frame.

   Added info:
   possible connection: this happens when anchored to text with paragraph shading!

5. minion pro black

   Whenever I open a document that contains the missing typeface Minion Pro Black, Indesign crashes on mac. Over and over...
   It does not crash when opened on PC.

7. pdf export

   • I have the latest and greatest just installed 2021 version of inDesign 16.0.1 x64 on Windows 10, i7 3.2Ghz with 16GB RAM
   • I have tried exporting to idml and saving again as I have seen suggested elswhere
   • I have tried restarting my computer, and inDesign many, many times.
   • everytime I try to export the file it gets most of the way through, then hangs on the same percentage everytime.
   • Background tasks shows an error / warning, but gives no clues as to what it is.
   • no matter how long I leave it (hours) it will not advance past the stuck percentage and I have to force close everytime to exit and try again.

   Please help as I am at wits end!

8. set default open folder

   Upgraded to ID 16.0.1x64 today on a Win 10 64 system. File Open, or File Save, both want to use "This PC > Documents" and not the original file folder. Didn't have this problem prior to the upgrade.

   How can I set the default file open folder?

9. Option-Click and Drag

   InDesign 16.0.1. (and prior)

   I updated to Catalina OS on Mac. Option-Click no longer works as it should. It is supposed to straight duplicate one time. Now it is acting as a step and repeat and is creating 2 duplicates instead of one. Please help. I can't find how to fix this.

10. Rotate effects same direction with page rotation

    When you need to rotate a page (180º) effects applied to a text frame aren't keeping the same viewable as it was originally set.

    i.e: If you have a text with a Drop shadow applied with an angle of 135º if you rotate the page 180º the effect applied is upside-down, not following the original X and Y position, it should be -45º to keep consistency, please see attached jpg

12. png keylines export

    When I export designs using an imported PNG graphic, the finished PDF shows an unwanted dark line around the crop area of the PDF.
    This doesn't seem to happen with jpegs or ai files.

14. InDesign task remains active when application is completely closed on Windows

    Steps to reproduce:

    • Currently running Windows 10 Version 10.0.19042 Build 19042
    • Indesign v16.0

    1. Open InDesign
    2. Open any file and make edits.
    3. Close application
    4. Click on InDesign from program list on Windows to reopen

    Problem: InDesign task remains active in task manager when application is fully closed, giving impression that application may either be slow or inaccessible next time the user select applications from their list of programs.

    Expected result: Once the user closes the program, the task appears terminated from task manager, and application can be started the next time user clicks on its icon from the list of applications.

    Additional info: This issue occurs at random occurrences, and it was not possible to attach a screenshot.

    Steps to reproduce:

15. Publish Online roll over bug

    I'm using InDesign 2021 version 16.0.

    I seem to be running into an issue with the roll over effect in Publish Online. The issue seems sporadic, but once the bug happens, it doesn't fix itself.

    I've setup a timeline so that when you roll over the date, info will be visible. This works initially, but then when I try to go back to some dates that I've previously rolled over, the info does not show up. Expected result is to have the info shown when you roll over the date. Actual result shows that the button to trigger the roll over changes to it's roll over state but the info is not visible.

    See attached PNGs. Note that the date is supposed to be blue when mouse hovers over.

    I'm using InDesign 2021 version 16.0.

16. Copy and paste from InDesign 15.1.3 to InDesign 16.0

    When copy pasting from 1 version to the other, Objects (including Text Frames) are getting pasted as an embedded EPS without showing as so in the Links Panel.

17. InDesign 16.0.2 still does not allow making new folder under SaveAs dialog and Cmd+P also does not work

    Updated version of InDesign (16.0. and 16.0.2) does not allow making new folder when using Save As or Open dialog on MacOS Mojave. Also you can not use Cmd+P shortcut in the same dialog - this is very helpful shortcut that opens current folder in Finder. Adobe WHY are you bringing new bugs all the time for things that worked just great :(

18. Paragraph style when grouped with an object loses link on ePub export

    A TOC for image captions that are grouped with their images can be created in ID, but when the document is exported to ePub, the TOC links are non-functional. This is true also for cross-references linked to the caption style. They function properly in the document (were one to move the grouped image, the page reference would update), but the links are non-functional when the document is exported to ePub.

19. export to PDF failed in ID v16 with macOS BigSur

    I'm having problems exporting to PDF since the macOS Big Sur update 11.0.1 (the official one). I also updated to InDesign 2021 (v16.0) and the computer is almost new. It keeps crashing or freezes with the beachball every time I try to export. I have already tried the obvious, changing the preferences at the export panel and deleting the software preferences (with cmd+ctrl+alt+shift). I'm looking for a way to solve this. Please help!
