Clip to Frame paragraph shading
InDesign 13.0 x64 Windows
Create a paragraph style with paragraph shading, width set to column. Set positive left and right offsets. Enable "Clip to Frame".
Expected result: Shading does not extend beyond frame.
Actual result: Shading offset is clipped on left frame margin, but clipping is not honored on right frame margin.4 votesHi,

Auto-size text boxes with rounded corners expands randomly.
Version 2018, 13.0
Set a text box to auto size height and width (with no line breaks)
Make the corners rounded

Indesign
I have updated from CC 2017 to CC 2018 and opened an existing 740 page book. This is an indesign book file .INDB with 25 chapters and numerous index entries.
When I view the index panel in CC 2017 all the entries are there. Screenshot index-cc2017

I rebuilt the preferences and the exact same thing happens. These screenshots were done after the pref rebuild when I noticed the problem.

color theme menu is off the screen and I can't resize it or see bottom of menu
when i open the color them window, the bottom of the menu pops up off screen. I can't see the bottom of the color theme menu and I'm unable to resize it.
1 voteYou can small ‘up-down’ arrows next to the panel name to switch between the sizes of the panel.

An Orginalposition einfügen
Seid Adobe InDesign 2018 tritt folgendes Problem auf.
Ich öffne ein mehrseitiges Dokument und kopiere eine Doppelseite - mit "apple + c" in die Zwischenablage. Anschließen erstelle ich ein neues Dokument (DIN A4, 2 Seiten) und füge den Inhalt der Zwischenablage über "An Orginalposition einfügen" ein. Nun werden verschieden Textboxen nicht mehr richtig angezeigt. So werden z.B. Texte die über "Textrahmenoptionen" "zentriert" ausgerichtet waren nicht mehr richtig angezeigt. Sie erscheinen nun wie einfach obenlinks ausgerichteter Text. CC2018 Swatch panel bug
The InDesign CC 2018 swatch panel displays different sets of swatches when set to different view options. “Small name” seems the most complete. Swatches are missing with the other settings especially after opening a document from a previous version of InDesign.

underline and paragraph rules don't work
In version 13.0 can't modify the value of the line thickness, and is always the same stroke size: 1pt

drop shadow effect bug - in NEW 2018 Indesign
The Blend Mode in DROP SHADOW is FROZEN on MULTIPLY.. I cannot choose any other blend option... i.e. screen, darken, lighten..and it defaults to MULTIPLY...
I tried drop shadow filter on multiple elements and documents.. STILL FROZEN... BIG BUG..
I'll go back to using the older version until you get your issues fixed.

We are unable to reproduce this bug.
Are you on MAC or Win? Does it happen with all documents?

missing scripts after installation ID CC13.0/ID2018 Windows
Startup scripts are no longer running after installation. The Scripts folder is empty.
Indesign copies the folder from version 12 and creates the folder C:\Users<user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 13.0\de_DE
But Indesign-scripts now are saved in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe InDesign CC 2018\Scripts
So you have to copy the script folders by yourself.1 voteHi,
Thanks for reporting this issue. Just wanted to confirm few things:
1) Was there some scripts present in folder C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\InDesign\Version 12.0\de_DE and these are not copied to 13.0 folder?
2) Is your problem just limited to folder movement or you are facing the issue that your startup scripts are not running?Please provide more detail about the issue. Also, It would be useful if you can provide steps to reproduce the issue.

Digits after spaces appear out of order
InDesign CC 2017.1
I had previously used Arabic support, and this may be contributing to the problem, even after changing Preferences back to "English (North America)" the problem persists.Create text box. Type any digit, then a space, then any digit.
Digits should appear left to right.
The digit after the space jumps to the left of the first digit and includes a space after. Cursoring with arrow keys through the type makes the cursor position jump around, so the misplaced digit is still reading as after sequentially, but is now to the left of the previous digits (really screwy!).

indesign export
I export a pdf and then decide I want to make a tweak. So I tweak the indesign file, re-export my pdf, and then the pdf doesn't update the preview! I have to re-export TWICE in order for the pdf to be updated. Anybody else having this problem?
