2. custom workspace save overwrites all

   Running ID 15.0 on Mac OS 10.13.6

   I have multiple custom workspaces depending on if I am working at home, the office or remotely.

   Any time I save a workspace, regardless of if it is a new workspace or overwriting an old one, it changes all of my workspaces to the most recent saved version.

   Effectively, I only have one custom workspace now. Any suggestions?

3. workspace problems in Indd 2020

   I am working on two major projects and have created my custom workspace that gives me the panels needed for these projects. After saving the changes made for the day and closing InDesign, upon opening Indd for the next session, the work space has been set to Essentials, even though the files that require my s=custom workspace are open. I go to the workspace menu and change the work space to my working workspace and it does change, but the menu still says Essentials.

4. there isnt' Indesign 2018 (13.0) from Download legacy versions of Creative Cloud apps

   Hi,
   I can't find Indesign 2018 (13.0....) from the page of "Download legacy versions of Creative Cloud apps" after updating to Indesign 2020. I have the same issue for my two account, Windows 10 and macOS 10.14, any idea? Thanks

5. InDesign won't find fonts in file package if the file is in a Dropbox folder

   Version: InDesign 14.0.3 macOS Catalina
   Steps: 1. Package a file and include fonts
   2. Move the package anywhere in the local Dropbox folder
   3. Make sure fonts are not locally activated/present
   4. Open file
   Expected result: InDesign opens fonts in the "Document fonts" folder
   Actual result: InDesign reports fonts as missing
   [Same package moved to Desktop, everything works fine]

7. assignments not showing or saving with file type .icma or including the whole path in the file name

   With the implementation of ID 2020 my team and I have run into a problem saving .icma files. (We are currently using PC's and I have not experimented with a mac yet.) I have found 2 things that happen based on what you do prior to changing the assignment location.
   We have opened our files (all ID 2019 versions), all of which already have stories and assignments attached to them. After making our changes, and before saving the file I go to "Change Assignment location" and the file name is extremely long as it includes the complete path, along with the name of the file.
   The second issue is changing the location after you save the file. Clicking on the "change file location" will only show a portion of the file name with a period at the end but not include the file type (icma). I did do a save without adding the file extension but windows shows it as an unknown file type.

9. Drag-Duplicating using Alt/Opt key does not work if key is pressed after dragging

   InDesign 2020 OPTION Duplicate is now broken, just like Photoshop has always been.

   Don't make me commit to the duplicate before moving an item.

   Sometimes I'll move a box, then realize I intended to duplicate it, so then I'll press OPTION... now I have to commit to it FIRST.

   Fix this and stop breaking things!

10. Thumb nail of indesign saved files not appearing after 2019 to 2020 update

    Can anyone help me with this issue, since I update to the 2020 InDesign from 2019 all my icons in saved files don't show the InDesign thumbnail is this a bug or just me being dumb?

    note -
    -Files still open as normal.
    -Even if I save them in 2020 formate still no icons
    -Other adobe programs since update show Icons.

11. Type tool hotkey still not working

    When moving from the direct selection tool to try to make a text box with the type tool hotkey (T), the hotkey still isn't working in InDesign. It shows temporarily as the I bar icon, and then keeps reverting to the direct selection tool or sometimes a disappearing + icon. It doesn't matter how long I wait or if I select the page or the pasteboard for the new text box (although I seem to have more succes on the pasteboard than on the page).. Also the direct selection key and the text tool frequently do not respond to the escape key. I am running InDD 15.0 on a MAC running OS 10.14.4. These features have not worked for at least a year. Experienced designers depend on hotkeys to expedite work. PLEASE fix it!!!!

12. Sloooooowwwww InDesign CC 2020 :-(

    I've not put this under "Crash" because it isn't a crash, but I updated Creative Cloud yesterday and now InDesign keeps locking up!

    It doesn't seem to be linked to any specific actions, the program just keeps stopping to think. This suggests it's not making efficient use of resources.

    I'm using a Dell Latitude 5591 on Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18362. It worked fine with the previous version of Creative Cloud, but I'm not going back to it because I want to have the latest version.

13. CC2020: Alternate text for hyperlinks

    In CC2020 a new function for writing alternate text for links was introduced.
    Using this function and generating a PDF Leeds to wrong PDF notation. The alt text in PDF is presented by alt text, which is forbidden in the PDF world, where alt text only should be used for non text elements, e.g. pictures. By presenting only the alt text the accessibility is lost – this is against the goal to hav a better output!
    A correct output would lead to a content entry.

    Note: Alt text for links is under discussion, as such alt text is not present for all users (it would be read out loud, but you can't read it) – this is not about equal access.

    Thanks for fixing, this would be a good step for all people relying on accessible PDFs.

14. Cells formatted as Number/Currency etc. in Excel without decimal places or as Date not imported correctly into InDesign.

    MacOS : 10.13.6
    MS Excel : 16.30 for Mac

    We were able since ever (last version ID CC 2019) to import Excel data-cells by InDesign with the placing functionality. With the actual version of InDesign CC 2020 numbers without any decimal places (e.g. 153) are not imported from Excel files and are displayed in InDesign with a "0" - (e.g. 153 imports to InDesign as 0). If the numbers in the Excel files have at least 1 decimal place numbers are imported correctly (e.g. 153.6 imports to InDesign as 153.6). Please fix this InDesign CC 2020 as soon as possible. An please in InDesgin CC 2019 Excel-Numbers with a sign for thousands place (e.g. 2'153) imported with a non correct sign (e.g. 2'153 imports to InDesgin CC 2019 as 2Õ153). Please verify this also.

    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign 2020 – that is, InDesign 15.0.1

    In the Creative Cloud Desktop application, click on the Updates section on the left. You should be able to see the Update available for InDesign. Please update your InDesign application to this version to try out the fix.

15. Don't work "printPreferences.copies"

16. Cmd-O or Cmd-N doesn't work after InDesign starts up.

    This has been an annoying bug for a while. If you open indesign, then use the command-O or command-N key to open/create a file, nothing happens. You just get an alert sound.

17. Missing part of pdf in indesign

    When I place a pdf in InDesign parts of the pdf is missing. I checked the Show Import Options box and selected all the different settings next to Crop to: under the Options section. None of them worked. I also tried the two different settings under the Layers tab and those didn't work either.

18. Latest InDesign closes all open projects when closing one.

    InDesign v 14.0.3
    Open multiple files, ie editing two projects
    Make changes to one and not the other
    Quit the one with NO changes
    InDesign quits all files including the one that has changes without saving it first

    Adobe Customer Service and Support is non-existent. As in, no resolutions, no callbacks, constant lies to customers, and zero fixes.

20. Cursor - Zoom in and out/left and right on trackpad not working

    When using my trackpad on Windows 10, two fingers up and down works when editing a document. Two fingers left and right does nothing and pinching in and out doesnt zoom, it scrolls right to left. This is the same across all my adobe platforms. Everything else on my laptop scrolls accordingly on the trackpad.
    I only downloaded the adobe software last night and my laptop is brand new yesterday. All updates are up to date.
