search
Make the search bar visible when users press CMD+F (or windows alternative).
At the moment, when you click to search text on a document that's shared for review, it seems like the search bar doesn't appear. But in reality it's hidden behind the comments panel. You have to close the comments/preview panels to see it.
This causes a lot of "there's no search bar" comments from users, and we have to specifically tell them now when we share for review "it's hidden. Close this panel".
The search function should always be visible when someone presses CMD+F.

Adobe gentlemen listen to me! I would like to have the possibility that when I export a PDF for printing a certain paragraph style does not come out... it should be a setting inside the paragraph style to tell it with an option do not export... it could be very useful in case I have a catalog with prices and I want to export the PDF without. Thank you

"Hyphenate" not be the default paragraph option
As has recently been completed for Illustrator (https://bit.ly/4bTHEZJ), please turn off hyphenation as the default.

Have a trash can function in Publish Online
If documents are accidentally deleted from Publish Online, they are gone forever, which if done in error, can cause a huge problem. It would be so helpful if deleted documents could be placed in a trash can, even if for only a week or so, to take away the risk of accidental deletion. Thanks

Resize Frames & Objects to Preset Aspect Ratios & Sizes
It would be great to have a feature where a placed graphic, text frame or object could be quickly resized using the contextual menus to a choice of standard aspect ratios (4:3, 16:9 etc..) there would need to be options to crop, resize content proportionally etc.. Add the ability to add your own user ratios and physical size dimensions like the Photoshop crop tool and it would be very powerful.
For example: it would be pretty slick if users could drop a 5:7 image onto their page and then right click to quickly crop to 16:9.

Fix application built-in trapping
I've posted in the forum (twice), and read similar posts by other people, regarding the failure to print application built-in trapping since ID v16. At least in Windows. The last time it worked (for me and for others) was in ID v15. Yes, we are advised to leave trapping to in-RIP, but there are situations when application built-in trapping is necessary.

Empty Text Frames in Preflight Panel
It would be really nice if the Preflight Panel (or another tool) could detect text frames with no text in them and give the user an option to delete them. Empty text frames don't cause that many problems in print, but when you export to ePub, they often create some odd pagination and other errors. I think they usually happen because I bring in a new story and it kicks out 15 pages. Then I highlight the text and apply a style and the text shrinks to 12 pages, but leaves behind empty boxes. Align from page edge
Among the various types of “Align to:”, in addition to “Align to margins” and “Align to page”, it would be useful to also have an “Align from page edge”, considering the edge as an element to distance from. In this way, we can avoid putting empty blocks beyond the page margins to distribute the spacing of objects across the entire page.

Flipbook should comeback
The flipbook feature should come in HTML5 so that we are sure that there are no backlinks or anything like that in the code and its secure to be used on servers.
