Hi everyone,
This feature is available in Adobe InDesign 2023 version.
Please update to this InDesign version to work with this feature.

Antonio supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedI can alt-drag the page. If you see a + icon next to the cursor, it'll place at the end; if you see a vertical bar, that's where the page will duplicate.
With multiple pages, it won't work, which is weird.
It should be as simple as the Move Pages dialogue, adding an option to duplicate instead of moving.

We have recently started development work on Convert PDF to INDD. Going forward, we will keep adding more functionality and refining it.
The feature is available as a Beta feature in InDesign 19.5 Beta version, available via the CCD app.
Note: For now, it is available only when InDesign's install language is English (North America or International).
Please provide us feedback on this Beta feature. Looking forward to hearing your feedback.

Thanks for the info. This is indeed correct that since the various artboards come in as a layers the dimensions are of the entire document which can be problematic. Adding this to our backlog.
An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedThis feature should be as straightforward as placing an Illustrator artboard. Do we need to wait years for a solution? Amazing.
Antonio supported this idea ·An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedPhotoshop artboards should be interpreted as different pages, same thing as when importing an Illustrator file with different artboards. The current behaviour makes no sense.

Hello All,
Kindly provide more information about this ask. How do you plan to use the Action Panel in InDesign? Do you want it to work exactly like that in Photoshop? What are the most important actions/operations that you want to record?
Thanks

An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedSame issue here. Stacked is not possible to rename the alternate layout, but it's doable in a floating window. Never happened before.

When Composer (in Paragraph panel flyout menu) is set to Adobe Paragraph Composer, “Balance Ragged Lines” works correctly. It won’t work with Adobe Single-Line Composer.

The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – that is, InDesign 15.0.2.
Please update your InDesign application to get this fix.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedIt seems to be a random behaviour. I had to install CC 2019 and finish my work with it. After that, I've been using CC 2020 for a few days and it hasn't happened again...
An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedNot only Ctrl + Z stopped working properly, but now I cannot save the file I'm working on. What's happening with the 2020 update?
When I close the file then a prompt appears to save the file, but I can't anyway.
Only way is to Export to idml...
An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedIncredibly annoying, and it's making me lose a lot of time: I have to save constantly to avoid losing hours of work because of a unexpected undo bug. Please fix it.
I'm using Windows 10, and it happens randomly when pressing Ctrl + Z.

InDesign versions CC2018 and above have an option called ‘Create Separate PDF Files’ in the Export PDF dialog. Using this option, you should be able to export all your layouts as separate PDFs.
Which version of InDesign are you using?Adobe InDesign team
An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedThe idea would be to export to separate PDFs having the opportunity to name each file with the corresponding alternate layout + page number and / or custom text.
That would save lots of time renaming files.
Also, having that same naming option for images (PNG, JPG) would be absolutely amazing.

An error occurred while saving the comment Antonio commentedIt's silly not to be able to adjust the opacity or the blending of cells... You have to do really stupid arrangements to achieve row / column transparencies putting frames below - not professional at all.

This bug is incredibly annoying. It might be OK when dealing with a few buttons, but I have to work with hundreds of buttons in certain documents, and a slight change in the TOC would mean relinking all of them. Terrible.
