Hi everyone,
The behavior mentioned here has been there since InDesign CC (that came out more than 8 years ago in 2013).
Behavior in InDesign CS6 (and earlier) was different. Please confirm if you were seeing different behavior in any of the CC versions. Illustrator also behaves the same way.

Sorry that I provided the bug report two times.
Why did I do that? The web interface stated that my report cannot be submitted. No specific reason was given. Now that I checked I can see that it was reported two times. Will try to remove the other report.Regards,

Hi Anonymous, or better "belisir" from:
Table header disappear when exporting to pdf
belisir, Sep 17, 2019
https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/table-header-disappear-when-exporting-to-pdf/td-p/10615207Thanks for providing a sample document from InDesign CC 2019 version 14.0.3.433.
I did a test where I exchanged the missing images in the table header that consists of graphic cells with some of my own images on page 2. Exported to PDF/X-4.And yes, I can confirm, that the table header images of the table with the 125 body table rows were not repeated through PDF export on pages 3 to 7 even if the layout is showing them! That's a severe bug.
Also exported to IDML, opened in InDesign 2021 version 16.3.0.24 on Windows 10 and had the same results.
Later I will try to create the table from scratch to see if the issue still exists in a new document with 16.3.0.24. Could be that your sample document is damaged because it started its life with InDesign CS3, was saved with CS4 and InDesign CC 2015 and finally worked on with InDesign CC 2019.Regards,
Uwe Laubender

Hi Thomas,
your issue is another one. A BUG that is only visible with PDF Export when:
[a] The "Adobe World-Ready Composer" is used in the applied paragraph style
[b] When option "Create PDF Tags" is enabled when exporting to Adobe PDF (Print).
[c] Other factors like style overrides with "language".See this discussion at the Adobe InDesign Forum:

Better opt for deviceLink technology. That could handle your problem better…

I strongly vote AGAINST this!
100 % Black with the CMYK color model MUST remain 100 % of ink Black.
If you want the blackest possible black for your printing condition use a RGB black and convert it to CMYK when you export to PDF. Or determine a mix of CMYK values with 100 % black ink and add a mix of neutral gray using the CMY inks.

Hi Danielle,
does this happen for text in table cells only?
If yes, you discovered a bug that I can confirm with the document's baseline grid and text in text cells.
The text follows a different grid, an imaginary grid that starts at the top of the page and not at the top margin of a page.
More details in this thread at the Adobe InDesign Forum:
Text in table won't align to baseline
https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/text-in-table-won-t-align-to-baseline/m-p/12510503#M452531
"Hi Doc Maik,
thanks for your dummy document.
Now I see the issue. Inside the cell the text is following the baseline as well.
But not as precise as it should be. It's just a bit too low.
If I copy the text frame over to a new document the alignment is perfect.
But if I change the values of the top margins to the ones in your dummy document the issue is back.
So I think you discovered a bug.
The text in the text cell seems to align to a baseline of a imaginary baseline grid that starts at the top edge of the document's page. I drew some grid lines from top with a distance of 12 pt and discovered that the text in the table cell perfectly aligns to that:"
You can see that clearly in the InDesign document that Doc Maik, the OP of that thread, has attached to one of his replys:
https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign-discussions/text-in-table-won-t-align-to-baseline/m-p/12510422#M452522
