I suggested a similar thing in august:
https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601021-adobe-indesign-feature-requests/suggestions/31111675-kerning-editor-with-individual-margin-alignment-oSadly, it seems to receive very litte attention ...

I emphasize this, but not in all circumstances.
If I am using the find/chance panel, it would be absolutely sufficient, to use a specific area on the panel itself to show results of find/chance without having to »ok« them away.
If I am using find/chance via shortcut (without a UI window of find/chance), this feedback is still valueable (and a quick hit of return is okay for me)!
But the find/change results could also be shown somewhere else on the UI – in a kind of »feedback area«, which shows all feedbacks of the application to the user for a while. Or you could show them in a »messenger« window, which could be release by clicking a cross, clicking on it, or it fades away away after a couple of time automatically. -

I voted exactly for what Rainer described: placing of svg graphics. And that will give us the power of truly web supporting workflows with less conversion efforts.

You can change the search focus from »Document« to »... to end«. Is that what you wanted?
