>>>I have a document with many shared destination hyperlinks. When I go to export this document out to an epub 3 file, non of the shared destination hyperlinks are inserted into the epub file. This is a huge problem.
>1 voteHi,

Mysterious blocks of whitespace appearing in tables
>>>Yesterday I reported mysterious blocks of white space appearing between paragraphs and images. They are now starting to appear between my tables. Please see the attached figure. There is no indication of them in the story. Has this got something to do with the footnotes which are behaving very strangely. Maybe I have misconfigured them somehow?

Highlighting text in a table does not highlight the corresponding text in the story editor
>>>CC2020
>>When I highlight text in a table, I would expect the same text to appear highlighted in the story editor. Instead, the story editor jumps to the beginning of the document.

thumbnails of links not available in Indesign 2020
>>>when i'm placing images (psd files) in indesign, there are no thumbnails of the links.
>1 voteAs per our discussion, the issue is not with the thumbnail on the links panel, but rather the one on the place dialog.
This thumbnail is governed by the OS and Windows OS does not generate the psd thumbnail and just shows the psd file icon as the thumbnail.
Thanks

Strange Whitespace areas
>>>I am using CC2019 and the have the same issue in CC2020. I have mysterious areas of whitespace that I can't use appearing on my pages. Please see the attached file. The file is part of a book. Page 110 (relative to book's start, the third spread in the file) is where the trouble starts.
>>I don't mean to be a nuisance but sorting this out is rather urgent. I am going to destroy the document and start again out of desperation.
>>Kind regards

assignments not showing or saving with file type .icma or including the whole path in the file name
>>>With the implementation of ID 2020 my team and I have run into a problem saving .icma files. (We are currently using PC's and I have not experimented with a mac yet.) I have found 2 things that happen based on what you do prior to changing the assignment location.
>
> We have opened our files (all ID 2019 versions), all of which already have stories and assignments attached to them. After making our changes, and before saving the file I go to "Change Assignment location" and the file name is extremely long as it includes the complete path, along with the name of the file.
> The second issue is changing the location after you save the file. Clicking on the "change file location" will only show a portion of the file name with a period at the end but not include the file type (icma). I did do a save without adding the file extension but windows shows it as an unknown file type.>>With the implementation of ID 2020 my team and I have run into a problem saving .icma files. Glyph substitution not working with certain Oriya and Bengali glyphs
>>>The following words in cannot be reproduced in InDesign. It seems the glyph substitution is not working in about 1% of cases.
>>র্যানিবিজুমাব — Bengali
>
> ମହତ୍ଵପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ — Oriya
> ସ୍ଵେଚ୍ଛାକୃତ — Oriya
> କିମ୍ଵା — Oriya>It looks fine above, in any text editor, or in any Microsoft app, but does NOT look right in any Adobe app I tested, such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop CC 2019 and 2020 of each.
>
> I am applying the World-Ready Composers.
> I have tried copy+pasting the text from Word and also tried the Place command in InDesign.
> I've tested in both the English North America and English Arabic versions.
> I've tried multiple fonts, as well. No change.
> See attached for examples. Word doc shows as it should be. InDesign shows it wrong. I highlighted the glyphs that are wrong in InDesign as pink.

Sloooooowwwww InDesign CC 2020 :-(
>>>I've not put this under "Crash" because it isn't a crash, but I updated Creative Cloud yesterday and now InDesign keeps locking up!
>>It doesn't seem to be linked to any specific actions, the program just keeps stopping to think. This suggests it's not making efficient use of resources.
>>I'm using a Dell Latitude 5591 on Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18362. It worked fine with the previous version of Creative Cloud, but I'm not going back to it because I want to have the latest version.

Non consistent display of PMS colors across applications
>>>InDesign 15.0 / Illustrator 24.0
>
> Uncoated FOGRA29 (ISO12647-2:2004)
> PMS 3262U>Object on the right is an imported Illustrator EPS with PMS 3262U and Uncoated FOGRA29 (ISO12647-2:2004) profile.
>>InDesign document also has the Uncoated FOGRA29 (ISO12647-2:2004) profile, object is placed above the illustration: same PMS color but display of completely different color.
>>Export to print pdf = correct color

column line
>>>You cant make the column lines shorter in the top of a textframe when you have a preamble text in the frame. How ever, you can make the column lines shorter in the bottom of the frame. And you can make them longer in any direction. The function is there for making them shorter in the top but it¨s out of order.

InDesign 15.0 Smart Guides problem on converted files
>>>After the 15.0 update InDesign does not show Smart Guides on files that are saved with the older version of InDesign. New blank documents show Smart Guides as they should but if I open (convert) old file to 15.0 Smart Guides stop working. So when I drag elements they don't snap to each other or center to the page for example.
>>I'm working on Windows 10.

Wrong translation of “rule” in Czech version of InDesign 2020
>>>Please stop using Google Translate to translate Adobe UI to Czech language.
>>The new feature Column Rules is translated into Czech language as Regulations for Columns! (Pravidla pro sloupce) This is totally wrong! It should read “Linky mezi sloupci” (lines in between columns). Also the word “linie” is wrong, it is not used by designers. You should use “linka” as it is already in use in other UI dialogs in InDesign.
>1 voteFix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign 2020 – that is, InDesign 15.0.1
In the Creative Cloud Desktop application, click on the Updates section on the left. You should be able to see the Update available for InDesign. Please update your InDesign application to this version to try out the fix.
Let us know in the comments section if you face any problem with the updation process.

When converting files to a new version, some converted files have "copy" added to the name.
>>>Opening a book from a previous version, with automatic doc conversion selected, causes some files to be overwritten when saved with "copy" added to the name. This nuance has caused a cascading calamity for our file management. If this function is intended, then it's execution is downright dumb. Nowhere was this pitfall mentioned when opening the files and saving them. Automatic Document conversion should be just that, automatic. Not 'automatically' mess up my naming conventions and filing system.
>>Shame on you Adobe.
>1 voteThank you for reaching out to us.
Can you confirm the version of InDesign with which you are facing the issue?
It will be really helpful if you can share a screen recording of the workflow with us. It will give us unambiguous insight into the issue. You can send the video and test files to abkaushi@adobe.com
