Can't sort by group or type when Relinking to CC Libraries
When relinking to CC Libraries, you have no choice but to see a list of randomly sorted (or alphabetically sorted.. who knows) assets in CC Libraries. Users should be able to sort by Type or Group like in the normal CC Libraries panel.

Bugs with Whitespaces in Justification’s Composer when work with Thai language and other issues
As my report on bug with text wrapping in 2020 version (https://indesign.uservoice.com/forums/601180-adobe-indesign-bugs/suggestions/38998636-bug-with-world-ready-composer-when-use-space-like). Many of issues were fixed, but some still remain.

Before going to the issue in the title of the post, I want to specify some issue that doesn’t fix form my last report. If you see on the attachment img 02, you will see the issue about text encoding (it just only my suspicion) that happen when you just copy and paste text (specifically in Thai) form 2020 version to 2019 or to another text editor. After I had pasted text into TextEdit almost vowels…2 votes -

Crash when changing bullet character options
Just updated to the newest InDesign version (as of 28.03.2020).
Whenever changing the character style on a bullet list, in my case trying to change the character color of the bullet/numbering character (1., 2., 3. ...) , either via paragraph style -> bullet options or directl via character style window, InDesign crashes. The application does not crash when I choose the "Overprint Fill" option.2 votesTo identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.
We seek your support in our continual effort to improve InDesign.

formatting
There NEEDS to be a way to keep formatting when copy/pasting. I need to keep formatting when copying text from .docx and pasting into indesign. This is a MUST! Us copy editors need this ability. Using textedit/notepad and copying from there doesn't work (that is the solution recommended to me by technical support). Please Please PLEASE fix this!

Cross-Reference won't save a <cs style="stylename"></cs> format. It just strips the tag out of the data.
Before updating to the latest version of ID, I would get an error each time I tried to use the <cs> tag to format a cross-reference. It wouldn't let me save the data.
Now it lets me save the data, but it just strips the tag out.
I have a character setting called Bold.
I defined a cross-reference format as:
<cs style="Bold"><fullPara /></cs> on page <pageNum />I save it, and I click OK. Then I reopen the format page, and it says the following:
<fullPara /> on page <pageNum />It's like the tag never existed. No matter what…

Crash when smart reflowing a document with many anchored text boxes
Indesign is freezing/crashing when smart text reflow is used to reflow the attached document. Other documents are fine. This document is unique in that it contains many anchored text boxes and decimal tabs.
I am using InDesign 15.0.2
To witness the bug, 1) open the attached document, 2) click the red text marked with a note, 3) apply the "bug illustration" paragraph style.
2 votesHi,
Please can you share a sample document with which the crash is happening at amaarora@adobe.com?Thanks

Missing fonts, spell checking not working with InDesign 2020 build 15.0.2
There are two bugs with InDesign 2020, build 15.0.2, which make it unusable for me. I have reverted to build 15.0, and the two bugs are not in that build.
Bug 1 is that often when I export pages as a pdf, or I package the document, the fonts I am using in the document become missing afterward. I need to quit InDesign in order to have InDesign find those fonts again.
Bug 2 is that spell checking no longer works. The spell checking window comes up, but it never catches any misspellings.
Reverting InDesign to build 15.0 takes care…

The hyphenation don't work properly in portuguese syllabic Division
The Hyphenation breaks on vowels and consonants what is wrong on portuguese, there was not that in old versions of Indesign.

In the Table of Contents panel, make the 'Include Book Documents' option persistent and part of the style
I am writing a book, with 18 chapters, each as a separate InDesign document, but all collected in a single Book.indb.
I just now returned to writing the book after a several months break. Wanting to update my structure, I did Layout > Table of Contents and clicked 'OK'. My Table of Contents disappeared!
After investigating, I realized that the 'Include Book Documents' option in that panel had become unchecked.
I checked that option, ran Table of Contents again, and found all my table of contents entries generated successfully. Yay!
HOWEVER, when I went to regenerate the Table of Contents,…

Version 15.0.2 - Images are pixelated after exporting file to PDF.
The work around I've found is to go to Compression and turn off Bicubic downsampling. And select Do not downsample.

copy/paste of URL loses character style
ID 15.0.2; Mac OS 10.14.6
copy a passage containing a URL formatted with a character style
paste the passage
expect char. style to be retained
actual: char.. style is eliminated; reverts to [None]
This happens when char. style is named 'Hyperlink' or when a char. style with another name is used.
Related issue: 'New Hyperlink from URL' always creates and applies default char. style Hyperlink unless I name my char. style for URLs 'Hyperlink'; 'hyperlink', for example, will not be applied.

Text-fields behave strange after InDesign 2020 update
Since the release of InDesign 2020 there frequently appears a circumstantial bug, that is not reasonable in any way:
When i double click (edit) or just copy any text-box, suddenly the content is moving downwards (about 3pt), so that it disappears in overflow text and has to be realigned. It even happens when I copy and paste those Elements or duplicate the whole page, so one of the most fundamental functions became futile (image "Adobe-Indesign-Bug-duplicate.jpg")!
Additional the maximum height of the box, before the text disappears in overset, isn't depending on the contents height like in older versions, but is…

CC library icons (svg files) not copying over correctly
Version: inDesign 2020
When I drag, copy over, or place a linked icon (svg/eps) file from our corporate CC library, it only displays a white box.
I have asked a couple of coworkers to try the same thing and they don't have any issues.

Ligatures cause ADA compliance issues! Let's have a preference option to turn them all off, globally.
Please, please add a global Preference in the Advanced Type window to TURN OFF ALL LIGATURES. These are problematic to ADA requirements. This would be just an additional global preference that we could set when we have no InDesign documents open, so that any new documents (after we turn off the ligatures in the preference area) would not have ligatures.
