[ID-4251249]Exiting Presentation Mode makes InDesign's Window smaller when connected to external monitor.
When entering presentation mode (shift+w), and then escape,
InDesign windows becomes fullscreen.
It would be great to get back to same size and position.
InDesign Version: 18.0
Hi,
Thank you for reporting the issue. We have been able to reproduce the issue and it is currently under investigation.

Same problem here, going to presentation mode (shift+W) and then back to normal, my indesign window shrinks and I have to manually put the window back to full screen, so so sooooo anoying... Please Adobe resolve this issue 🙏
(I work also with an external BenQ monitor with a screen bigger than my Macbook's) -

I'm having the same issue with the latest version of Indesign (19.4). So frustrating!

Try changing the user interface settings and restarting ID. Then make sure ID is in fullscreen size (green plus) before you open a new doc. This seems to have fixed it for me.
I have the user interface set to “small” and made it large and then back to small. I had to restart ID a few times.

Upon exiting presenter mode (entered by pressing Shift+W, then exited with another press of Shift+W), the InDesign window/interface resizes dramatically and I'm having to resize and enlarge it every time which is really disruptive.
I'm using a late 2015 iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 (recently updated from Sierra), InDesign 18.4.
Have attached screenshots to show the resizing of the window.

Presentation Mode RESETS the window dimensions (Adobe 18.4)
Version 17.x was supposed to have a fix for this, but I am on 18.x, just updated to 18.4 and this issue is still on this version. Very annoying.

InDesign 2023 18.2.1
Monterey 12.1 Apple M1I always work with my InDesign window taking up the full area of my monitor, meaning the window fills the screen.
After viewing a document in Presentation Mode (Shift+w) and exiting, it shrinks the InDesign window and I have to double click the top of the window to max expand it again. This seems to be an apple silicon only bug as I have an intel mac and don't experience this problem.

Exiting presentation mode on external monitor brings InDesign window to primary monitor. I am working on a macbook laptop with an external apple screen. I work on the external monitor and when i enter presentation mode and exit InDesign is brought down to my laptop screen.

Hello, there is a annoying bug, that drives me crazy.
If you setup the UI-size to position 1 in the preferences, InDesign can’t remembers the window size correctly (see. video).
When I’m in the presentation mode (shift w) and after I left it, the app window of InDesign is resizing small (or another wrong size).
If you change the UI-size back to position 2 (standard setting) this bug doesn’t happening. I checkt it again and again. And it only happens when the two 27" 4K displays are connected.
I’m working on a MacBook Pro 16" M1 Pro in MacOS Ventura.I also cleared the cache and preferences, deleted InDesign and restarted the machine many times.
I attached a short video and screenshots.Best

When you put the presentation mode and remove it, the screen is automatically minimized and does not allow you to continue in full screen.
Cuando pones el modo presentación y lo quitas se te minimiza la pantalla automáticamente y no te permite seguir en pantalla completa.

Exactly the same as with Photoshop in Full-Screen, described here - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-and-macoshighsierra.html - in Presentation Screen Mode, the InDesign Document does not expand to fill the entire display when the macOS Dock is shown. The problem does not occur if the Dock is set to “Automatically hide and show”
