    Fix for this issue is now available in the latest InDesign Release version ID20.2. Please update your InDesign to this latest version to get the fix.

    Exactly the same as with Photoshop in Full-Screen, described here - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/photoshop-and-macoshighsierra.html - in Presentation Screen Mode, the InDesign Document does not expand to fill the entire display when the macOS Dock is shown. The problem does not occur if the Dock is set to “Automatically hide and show”
