This issue has returned related to Undo / Redo options returning to the last saved version instead of one step back. Is there a Fix related to this?

Have the same recently. My Save/Save As/Save and As Copy become unavailable occasionally in the middle of working as well as undo/redo. Thanx, there is an auto-backup function that saved my work when I faced this issue the first time. So I had to force close ID and relaunch it. It solves the problem. But today there is a new version of this bug: I can still save the work but no undo/redo available. And sometimes undo command rolls back for about 4-5 minutes or to the last save of work in one click

ID version is the latest which CC provides.

Sir, that was 20 days ago. When are you releasing it for everybody. I don't feel like signing for the pre-release program.

Recommend back-dating to 15.0.0.155. I did this and have experienced very little trouble since. I think there was one instance of the undo bug and it went away when I restarted (after running ********).

Just updated InDesign on 1/28/2020 in hopes of fixing the UNDO bug but it's still broken. I keep having to redo the same edits over and over and I now feel like I'm in the movie Groundhog Day. How can something so fundamental be such a mess?

The available beta fixed the undo functionality, but as bad as this bug: It won't export some of my files to pdf. Error message: "PDF konnte nicht geschrieben werden" (PDF couldn't be created) – very helpful. Really cool: When trying to delete the error message the beta crashes. Every time. Already submitted documents, crash reports and screen captures. Still there's only one solution for me: Continue using ID2019 until my customers switch to Affinity Publisher. I'm already using it for my own projects and I'm very happy with it (as with Affinity Photo, too).

There is also another serious bug with the Object Styles menu throwing up an error about a some sort of script error when switching to other programs to check something... anyone else seen that one?

I have been using InDesign since 1999 and noticed Quality Control and Product Improvement has been steadily decreasing (and now moving BACKWARDS) ever since development was shifted to India.
Does anyone else think it's time for a new CEO from the USA instead of India? Bring back Bruce Chizen (circa CS3-6) perhaps?

Can someone kindly contact the appropriate management at Adobe about this so whoever is responsible is immediately FIRED FOR INCOMPETENCE PLEASE?

Simply ASTONISHING and really ridiculous that this SERIOUS ERROR made it though Quality Control. Has Adobe lost control?

This fix needs to be released immediately or revert to the previous functional version!

Just happened to me on a large document. Lost hours of work. How can something so basic be broken. This app just gets worse and worse with every release.

This is really frustrating, I have just experienced it in a document that I have been working on this morning. Any sign of a fix becoming available?

Getting frustrated with the result of the undo shortcut key that isn't working the way it is supposed to.

Looks good! I tested the same document with identical steps on 15.0.1 (bug showed up) and 15.0.2.304 (everything's fine).
