The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – that is, InDesign 15.0.2.
Please update your InDesign application to get this fix.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment An error occurred while saving the comment Dave commentedI will continue to use the previous version until I see evidence that this problem has been fixed. Part of that evidence (beside the glad cries of happy customers) would be the release of the new version, not a beta! I'm not paying for a beta, but a properly functioning piece of software... let's go ADOBE!!
An error occurred while saving the comment Dave commentedRecommend back-dating to 15.0.0.155. I did this and have experienced very little trouble since. I think there was one instance of the undo bug and it went away when I restarted (after running ********).
An error occurred while saving the comment Dave commentedI, too, was experiencing the "no undo" issue along with others, so I stepped back to version 15.0 and issues went away (for now). Also, I can open documents recently created in 15.0.1, which is a relief. Won't be updating this software again until I am certain that it's bug-free.
BTW: Another weird symptom was this strange little box within the text box I was trying to edit. The text was confined to this box-in-box until I double-clicked on it. Then it abruptly populated the entire 'primary' text box. Insanity!
I tried to upload a file but after a few hours of loading icon going around and around, I gave up.

An error occurred while saving the comment Dave commentedI don't mind the start menu; I like the interface fine. But I don't need the cheery-beery greetings, like: "When in doubt, make a layout". Seriously lame.
ADVICE: Keep your day job, leave the poetry to the poets.
Just tried out the update. Everything seems to be working fine. Thank you!
