Cannot turn auto-fit to default
I am using Adobe InDesign CC 2018 13.0 for macOS (10.13.1). It seems that the auto-fit is default turned off right now. I changed the setting in Objet-Fitting-Framing Fitting Options and checked the box of Auto-fit with no documents open.
However, I am still unable to set auto fit into default.

Can not start InDesign CC 2018
I can not start the InDesign CC 2018 after the update from CC 2017. The program did not start. Nothing happened. Need I some special rights, now? What could be the reason?

Keyboard Shortcut Doesn't Work
When assigning alternate shortcut keys to Edit/Copy (CTRL+INSERT) and Edit/Cut (SHIFT+DELETE), these keys don't function as expected. These keys were assigned in Default, Text, and Table contexts. CTRL+INSERT does nothing and SHIFT+DELETE removes text but does not put it in clipboard. This last one can cause data loss; I have do UNDO the removed text and then cut it using CTRL+X instead.

cc library
InDesign 2018 as soon as its opened the CC Library panel pops up and starts flickering. If you try to do anything in ID it relocates the pointer to the library every few seconds. If you switch to a different program or browser other than ID it takes you back to ID within seconds to the library.
I've tried closing the panel but it just opens up again. I've restarted my machine a few times. Its always the same. It makes it pretty much unusable.

Color Mode listings are all out of order
The order of Color Mode options (Pantone, TOYO, etc.) are listed in a seemingly random order after updating to InDesign CC 2018 (13.0).

autoflow not working - shift click does not do anything.
Indesign CC 2018 - shift click does not add pages to end of the document as required. Actually shift click does nothing with a text thread.

pen constraining and / or snapping
Drawing with the pen tool snaps / constrains to fixed increments rendering it useless. This occurs even after turning off snap to guides and smart guides and using control to disable.

Folder shortcuts for scripts are not copied, updating to ID2017. In new version the shortcut is a folder and all scripts are COPIED there.
In InDesign, before ver. 2017, I had a folder shortcut in my InDesign scripts folder. It lead to another place, a subfolder under a folder where I've got SVN versioning. When upgrading to CC12.0 (ID2017), the shortcut was not copied. Instead all of the files were copied from the original location to the scripts folder of InDesign 2017. When upgrading the shortcuts should be copied, not the actual files! We've got customers who point their scripts folder to a common network location, using shortcuts and also junctions (a.k.a. symlinks) for easy update. When every user gets a copy of their…

Extension on top of built-in modal messages can cause deadlock, windows blocking each other
InDesign's "modal" built-in dialogues can show up BEHIND third party extensions, if the extension is situated in the center of the screen. The extension window can not be moved before the window from InDesign has been handled (you may have to press OK or something like that), and that window is completely hidden. When this situation occurrs, you have to force InDesign to a quit.

Unable to add Paragraph Styles to Creative Cloud Library, InDesign 2018
Not sure how you can reproduce this as I haven't found anybody else with this problem, but hopefully you can figure out how to help me. I cannot add paragraph styles to the Library, and I have tried every way:"+" button on the panel with text selected, cloud button on the styles panel, dragging from the panel... nothing works. Everything else--including character styles--can be added normally.
2 votesThe issue is due to the Kerning being set as None, if one sets it as Optical or Metrics, it solves the issue. The issue is currently under review.

Links from Help menu that open browser cause a Safari popunder, Indesign refresh, and no link being loaded in Safari.

We have released an update for InDesign CC2019 (v 14.0.1) which contains fixes for some key issues. If you are not already on 14.0.1 (build 209), then we recommend you to update to latest version.
If you still face this issue even after updating, please send the following information to santalwa@adobe.com :
Reproducible Steps –
• Error snapshot or video recording of the issue.
• Is the issue related to a specific document(s)/asset(s)? If yes, can you please share the document(s)/asset(s) with us? Please package the entire document(To package the document, Go to File → Package)
• Does trashing InDesign Preferences and Cache help resolve the issue? Please take a backup of the same before trashing them.Adobe InDesign team

Inline input for non-Latin text does not work
Clicking the "advanced type" preference to "Use inline input for non-Latin text" does not work. The annoying popup frames make it impossible to type Japanese at a decent pace. Things worked fine in CC 2017. but someone forgot to do something here, it seems.
I clicked and unclicked, closed down and started again. Same error.2 votes -
indesign cc 2018 erratic display behaviour
Issues with linked images and vector shapes just going invisible and unselectable even though they are still in the links panel.
This bug makes it difficult to work, and leads to adding a huge number of linked images since I think they are not on the page.

Temp InDesign 2018 file
Temp InDesign 2018 file does not go away after closing ID file and trying to delete it, the Finder generates an error" -80" (?). By the way, what is the reason for such file to be visible at all? Why does the user even care to behold that file at all?

Adobe Templates - Title Blocks won't allow editing in Modern Media Kit Layout

Chic Media Kit LayoutI would like to use these Adobe templates, but the top title blocks will not allow editing. All of the other text box elements on the page react when you click on them, allowing you the opportunity to edit them. I can't seem to edit "YOUR TITLE HERE" or "MEDIA KIT 2017"
Am I missing something about how to properly edit the title blocks on those templates? I can't even click on it... no option to capture/click/highlight the "YOUR TITLE HERE" section.

InDesign 12.1.0.56 Mac crashes when launching files from Box.com
Cannot click on file on Box.com or without crashing InDesign. DO not have problem on other computers with older versions of InDesign.
2 votesTo identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding : Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020.0.1 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

muy dificil cambiar de capa los elementos
Es muy complejo el mover elementos de una capa a otra, ya que el boton de color no responde de inmediato, ni hablar de usar el stylus, con el es imposible hacer, al cabo de varios intentos recien es posible mover, o simplemente hay que darse por vencido
