Shift W - Window Resizing after exiting presenter mode
Upon exiting presenter mode (entered by pressing Shift+W, then exited with another press of Shift+W), the InDesign window/interface resizes dramatically and I'm having to resize and enlarge it every time which is really disruptive.
I'm using a late 2015 iMac running Catalina 10.15.7 (recently updated from Sierra), InDesign 18.4.
Have attached screenshots to show the resizing of the window.

InDesign 19.0.1 Crashes When Exporting Stories to InCopy
I have just set up a new MacBook Pro running InDesign 19.0.1 on Sonoma (pre-installed). Every time I attempt to export .icml stories from a layout file to my SMB Synology share, the file crashes and InDesign quits. When a co-worker on Monterey does the same thing with the same file, the .icml stories export normally.
I have tried exporting individual text frames rather than "export all stories" and got the same result. I've tried exporting the stories from a different local .indd file to my computer and got the same result.
What else should I try? Reinstall InDesign?

InDesign hangs for minutes when I/O for Document fonts is slow
Using version 18.2.1 and opening a document that has an associated "Document fonts" folder alongside, the app performs a lot of I/O on the main thread. If the fonts are on slower storage, the app will open the document, but the window is completely frozen, since all those I/O calls are performed on the main thread.
Note the attached traces: some calls are even performed twice for the same file. Can the CT calls be moved off the main thread?

preferences
After updating to Indesign 18.5 on macOS Ventura 13.2, every time it starts up I have to hold shift+ctrl+opt+cmd to clear the preferences or it crashes after half a second. Doesn't matter if I close it immediately without doing anything and restart, it still crashes every single time, instantly. 18.4 worked perfectly and continues to work perfectly if I roll back, 18.5 continues to crash every time even on a reinstall.

Color Picker causes InDesign to Crash
Every time I try to use the eyedrop Color Picker tool in InDesign it causes InDesign to crash and close. It will not allow me to drag the eyedropper to pick up a color, and if I try to drag the eyedropper it makes the color box freeze to where I cannot click "Ok" or "Cancel" and I need to press the "Esc" button on my keyboard to get out of the color box. Shortly after closing the color box, InDesign will crash and close. I have tried updating InDesign to the newest version, turning on/off my computer multiple times,…

Crashes on "Object Layer Options" for an AI file in a table
I'm using v18.4 (x64) on Windows 11 Pro, v22H2.
I have a two-layer vector graphic created in Illustrator (current version) placed in a table cell. If I select the graphic and then select "Object layer options," the correct dialog appears. But when I click on the visibility "eyeball" on either of the layers, InDesign immediately vanishes, having crashed.
This is repeatable.

Indesign v 18.0 will not open on 16" Macbook pro
Every time I try to open Adobe InDesign it blows out and won't open.
If I delete all preferences it will open. ONCE. I tried launching it in safe mode and that didn't work either. This is a brand new install of an Ventura 16" Macbook Pro M1 Pro Max chip.
I uninstalled and then reinstalled the software. Did not help.
I deleted all the preferences. Opened once. Quit the software, wouldn't open again.
Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, and Bridge all work fine. InDesign does not.

Properties panel to another screen is lagging
Hi, I'm using Adobe CC Desktop v. 5.11.0.522.1 and InDesign v. 18.5 x64

2 - The Porperties panel, on my second screen, for me is my laptop, is not well adjust on the others panel and it have…

There are many internal as well as external factors that can cause the InDesign application to crash/freeze/hang.
A few workarounds are listed at https://helpx.adobe.com/in/indesign/kb/crash-on-launch.html.
We would recommend you to upgrade to latest version as it is more robust.
If you still face this issue even after updating, please submit the crash report to us. (Guidelines to submit crash are available at https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/submit-crash-reports.html)

Indesign CC 2023 Freezes/Crashes on Noto Sans (Google Fonts)
Even in the 2023 version of InDesign, using the following complex characters, Noto Sans Font, and Adobe World-Ready paragraph composer can cause the Indesign to crash or freeze. The list might be few more. Nothing wrong found in the fonts, only Indesign crashes. If use other fonts these characters are ok in Indesign.
Word file attached. Place this in Indesign and see the results.

18.4 crashes on splash screen. Have to rebuild preferences
Updated to 18.4 and now have to rebuild my preferences file each time I want to start InDesign. If I don't it crashes within milliseconds of the splash screen appearing. The splash screen appears momentarily, goes away and the programme doesn't load. I don't get a crash report as the programme never loads.
Seems to work OK once I've rebuilt the preferences but I have to do it EVERY time I launch InDesign. It is annoying.
I'm using InDesign 18.4 and iMac running Ventura 13.1.

Greyed out screen when I open InDesign
Help! I am desperate to figure out why this was happening. I recently cleaned out my computer library/cache to free up storage, then updated to InDesign 2023. For the past couple hours I keep getting this screen. Everything is updated, but I have no idea how to fix this.
