1. Export Jpeg to nas, finder crash

   I have a MacbookPro under macOs BigSur version 11.4 with an Apple M1 chip, the version of Indesign is 16.3.2, when I export one of my files either locally or on the network nas, in the JPEG format to the NAS and I want to open the Finder to see if the file is saved, as soon as I click on it without opening it, the Finder no longer responds and the same for Indesign, which forces me to close Indesign so that the Finder will work again, is there a compatibility problem since there is still no version of Indesign for Apple Silicon processors?

2. Adobe InDesign Server 2021 has stopped working

   With some documents to be (automatically) processed by Indesign Server, InDesign Server stops working - and we get the Windows message "Adobe InDesign Server 2021 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program".

   As after a while our automatic system is picking up the same (possibly questionable) document again, we end up with a system where all InDesign Server instances are hanging, and no further processing happens (until a human being goes to the server and clicks the messages away).

   The issue here is not that the possibly questionable document cannot be processed properly - the issue is that a server process is showing a dialog, as opposed to just aborting execution or even crashing fully (which we could then handle programmatically).

   Long story short: why is InDesign Server, launched from the command line, ever showing a dialog?

   With some documents to be (automatically) processed by Indesign Server, InDesign Server stops working - and we get the Windows message "Adobe InDesign Server 2021 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program".

3. InDesign crash when deleting blank endnote text frame

   When converting endnotes back to footnotes the bland text frames remains on the page. When trying to delete the text (endnote) frame, or the entire page, InDesign 16.4 crashes.

4. Indesign crashing repeatedly, mostly after editing photos in Photoshop

   Indesign 16.4, Mac mini (M1, 2020), Big Sur: Indesign crashes repeatedly every day, mostly when I open an image in Photoshop from Indesign, edit the image and save it. Two latest crash reports attached.

5. Big Sur - inDesign when I switch to another program (PSD/Ai for example) it quits like a spoiled child

   Once I switched from Mojave to Big Sur inDesign will not stay running unless I leave it as the main program.
   Font issue? Mentioned because that is my main issue with Big Sur at the moment -- errr.

6. Indesign 16.3 cannot make package

   we are having a problem using INDD ( 16.3.2 ) with ours Mac Pro late 2013 ( Bigsur 11.4 ) while we are creating the package.
   So the process is going to infinite time and even we are force down the app we must pushing the power button of the Mac to switch off and after switch on.
   On the Windos 10 the package is created without any problem.

   Update on 29/07/2021
   I did the same test on a Mac Pro Book mid 2014 ( Catalina 10.15.3 ) : in this way I can make the package without any problem.
   So the cause should be the OS Bigsur.
   Does anyone have the same problem?

   After some months the problem is the same! , please somebody of the Adobe Team can see my post?

9. Using Text Wrap around objects causes InDesign to crash!

   When I apply a text wrap but only around an object, the program crashes and closes. The other text wrapping tools work fine.

   I noticed a blue cercle on the icon of text wrap around an object (see the screenshot joined). I'm not sure this is normal... maybe it would help you solve the problem...

   When I click on this tool, a windows opens (see second screenshot) and then Indesign crashes and closes.

   You can note that I am using the latest version of Indesign (16.4).

11. InDesign freezes while working with "Scale Tool"

    When using the "Scale Tool", every 4 or 5 times or so the app freezes at the dialog box and there's no way to exit. You have to force quit the app and hope that your work is autosaved. Unacceptable and only started happening recently.

    InDesign 15.1.1 on macOS Mojave 10.14.6

13. Import SVG, crashing indesign

    I'm on MAC and I'm using the latest versin of Indesign 16.2.1 and when i import an svg (who come Adobe XD), indesign do not respond and crash.

14. InDesign crashes when deleting a page that contains a tagged and locked graphic frame.

    Environment: InDesign 2020 or 2021 (16.3.2 or 15.1.3 Japanese version) + macOS 11.5.2

    These are the steps:
    1) Create a new document, create a graphic frame on the first page, and place an image on the frame.
    2) Add a tag to the graphic frame. (For example, "root")
    3) Lock the graphic frame.
    4) Add one page.
    5) InDesign crashes when you delete a page with a graphic frame.

15. Freeze When Typing Page # in Status Bar

    When entering a page number into the status bar to go to a particular page, InDesign freezes and becomes unresponsive. I then have to force quit and relaunch InDesign

16. tools

    The tools are blocked on the Type again! I can't get all the tools. It's happened before and after update this problem has been settled. But now the problem come back. What can I do? now the app is up to date 16.2 and it's still stuck.

17. voice dictation

    Macos Big sur 11.1: when using voice dictation in combination with Indesign, in a new simple document, nothing else open in ID: when starting voice dictation , text cursor blinking and already inputting text, after a few words ID crashes. Tried it 3 times, ID crashes each time.

20. CC library freezes during work and crashes Indesign 16.2.1 if buying Stock-Pictures

    MAC OS Catalina 10.15.7 (19H1217)
    iMac Pro (2017)
    3.2 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon W
    32 GB 2666 MHz DDR4
    Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB
    Indesign 16.2.1

    CC Library freezes and only a program restart helps temporarily ... until next time

    This bug existed before in Indesign and Illustrator was fixed in the meantime and was now apparently reissued! I love traditions!
