The Recent file view does not support files in apple iCloud (Optimize Mac Storage)
I am unable to open files that are automatically moved to iCloud using the Optimise Mac Storage default feature. I have to manually reload them to the local computer and then restart Indesign. Adobe CC - 2018 Indesign 13.1
It seems really lame that Adobe doesn't keep up with Mac OS developments. Every designer that I know who uses Adobe CC has a Mac. Every time Apple changes something it takes Adobe a year to catch up. This really hurts my workflow and leaves me with a poor opinion of Adobe.

Cannot change printer or centering options on occasion
This happens in both the print module and the print booklet module.
I click on the printer's name in the standard InDesign print dialog box, go to select the new one, click on the new printer, and it acts like it selects that printer only to see that it reverts back to the printer that was previously selected. I try multiple times and it still does the same thing. I have to try different printer menus to get it to stick.
This issue also happens when I try to change the centering option for the document. There is clearly excess…

Open Recent numbering goes from 1 to 9, then 0 and then repeats 1 to 9, 0.
When selecting File > Open Recent, and there are more than 9 items (I have it set to 20), the items are listed numerically from 1 to 9 and then 0. Then it repeats 1-9, 0. One would expect 1-9, 10, 11, 12, 13, etc.
Obviously not a showstopper, but just something to fix.

locked into program
While working in InDesign, I have to right click anywhere in the window to be able to access anything else on my computer. It's like it doesn't want me working in any other program except InDesign so it's trapping me. This has been a problem since pretty much the first day I started using creative cloud. There are 6 other people in my office that have never had this problem and we all use the same version of InDesign.

find/change missing from menu (PC)
I am using Adobe inDesign CC 2018 on a PC and since the most recent update (March 2018), I have lost the Find/Change option from the Edit menu. I have searched all over in case it was moved somewhere else, and also tried different workspaces, to no avail. Old document, new, it doesn't make a difference. Where did this go? I use it all the time. :( The keyboard shortcuts related to Find/Change don't work either. (Spellcheck isn't working correctly either--I posted a separate bug report about that. Are these related issues?)

Numbering and section options
If you have multiple types of numbering options in one document, (say using Roman for your intro pages, and then convert to regular numbers for the main document) you can't change them even though the option is not grayed out in the Numbering and Sections Options dialogue box. If you click on it, it just reverts back to what the document started as and won't select that other numbering option.
Exact same document, and I (on 13.1) cannot change it, but my co-worker who has 13.0.1 can.

Datamerge Slow
The datamerge feature is unacceptable. I am creating about 100 nametags for a small event, and am merging data from a Tab Delimited Text file (CSV files DO NOT work apparently). I even replaced the 3x4 nametag graphics (.ai) with a frame to minimize graphics usage. I am only including first and last names, and it can’t even merge that!!! Any suggestions or is this feature just complete garbage?
I’m on a late 2014 15” MB Pro with NVIDIA graphics card, running High Sierra with APFS.

LAYERS
Hi, dragging objects to another layer with the small rectangle in the layerpanel is not secure... it seems that the hotspot or trigger is out of range..
When i click-drag at the left-side of the filled rectangle it works sometimes but is not easy way to order objects like before.2 votes -
Choosing a link's page or layer right in the links panel
I would love to be able to change the page of my links without having to replace the file and select the page through import options. I use a lot of nested indesign files where I'm duping up business cards with multiple sides. It gets timely when I have 4 sides and I have to replace them all 8 times. Keep it in mind guys! You're doing an awesome job! I <3 adobe people!

No longer able to use arrow keys in outer glow size
I used to be able to arrow up or down in the "size" for an outer glow and other transparency effects and the increment would increase or decrease. I am no longer able to do that. It is a bit frustrating. I'm working on a Mac with the latest operating system and my programs are all up to date. Please fix this bug!

Window freezes
the indesign document window tends to freeze, I can fix it by creating a new window for the document and closing the old one. But it's pretty annoying, as you can imagine.

Button area changes size when adding object that only appears on rollover
Hello!
I am having issues with buttons, rendering my project entirely unusable.When creating buttons on a map:
- Each button is a building on the map.
- When you rollover the building with your mouse, a box appears that gives more information about the building.To accomplish this, I create the button, set it to change on rollover, and drag my additional graphic into the rollover state for that button on the layers panel.

Selection Toll
My Selection Tool, does not display properly and makes this wield yellow/green did like image. This means, I can not select objects properly and this is affecting the speed I'm working at.

Place Multipage PDF script not performing how it should
Hi,
I am experiencing trouble within my InDesign using the "PlaceMultipagePDF" java script under the scripts panel. My issue is that when I go to choose my file for my document and choose which page I want the PDF to start on (like page 5 out of 130) it no longer goes to the page I choose, but adds on top of the content on the last page (like page 105) and adds extra pages with the rest of the import of the pdf at the END of the document and not the one I chose.
Thughts?

high sierra and Creative Suite
I discovered an interesting bug concerning the Adobe CC suite and the HighSierra OS. Let me explain :
I'm using a LaCie Firewire 800 external hard drive on which I'm recording completed jobs.
Regularly, but not always, when using the InDesign or PhotoShop drop-down menu, the cursor takes the form of the multi-color wheel and blocks any action until I force the external hard drive to eject.
I use many other software publishers such as Panic, Apple, Google, GitHub, ... that never presents this dysfunction.Here is the LaCie drive information:

Hi is it possible to place Indesign doc as smart object in Photoshop?

Recent files panel
the link to the files in the Home panel is broken or inoperative.
If I close a job under Ind (cc2018- 13.0.1), it is not possible to return to it, even immediately afterwards. I didn't move the file from his folder, but Ind can't find it.I tried to put "0" in the number of files in the preferences, then to quit Ind, then to reopen Ind, to put "1" file in preference and to reopen this same file by the browser, without success.
The pop-up indicates the file moved or locked, which is not the case.

XML tagging with GREP
GREP is a great tool, but when we use GREP to highlight more than one character style in a paragraph there is an issue with the XML tagging tool.
Only the first GREP expression applies a character style that can be automatically tagged by character style. All further GREP expressions apply the character style but don't then go on to automatically tag by character style.
Currently we have to work around it with scripting, but it is a very strange bug to have.
