Add "Uncheck all" to Strokes and Fills window
When formatting complex tables, it is time consuming to uncheck strokes one by one. Why not have an "Uncheck All" feature

Please make pinch to zoom work on Surfacebook Windows 10.
Pinch to zoom simply doesn't work on any adobe apps on when using a Surfacebook. It can work in Photoshop if you turn off two finger scrolling, but that's it. It's incredible annoying, and as someone coming from a Mac, it's killing my workflow. Please fix this.

Text wrapping around image should honor Corner Options
See this forum thread for details: https://community.adobe.com/t5/indesign/wrapping-text-around-a-graphics-frame-with-corner-options/m-p/11776379
There are two issues - a feature request and what I think is actually a bug (related to the workaround for the lacking feature).
The primary question I asked in the forum feels like a bug to me, but I'm told it should be considered a feature request. So I request that in terms of text wrap, graphics frames generated by placing an image would behave the same as graphics frames created by the frame tool. If an image is placed and then Corner Options are applied, text wrap set to Graphics Frame should respond to the corners instead of staying square.
The bug relates to the workaround suggested on that forum thread. When a graphic (not its frame) is copied and "Paste Into" another frame, text wrap settings of the original frame should not be carried along with the graphic content, because it's not the frame that is being copied, but just the content. That seems like a definite bug to me.

Export of selection of pages could be easier...
It would be great to just select pages in the pages-window and then automatically have them selected with their page numbers in the export-toolbox.

Hyphenation (H&J): Don’t break compound words except at hyphens
Compound words should only be divided at existing hyphens when dividing words for line breaks.
Example: “award-winner” should break only after “award-“ not as “award-win-ner”
Other: “heart-stopping” can break after “heart-“ but never “heart-stop-ping”

Adding Ordinal Format Options to Text Variables
I'm using Text Variables to show when the last time a document was modified. Currently, it outputs as "December 30, 2020", however, I would like it to be formatted with an ordinal option so it would display as "December 30th, 2020". Note the "TH" after the 30. So Xst, Xnd, Xrd and Xth would be displayed on the appropriate number.
Thanks in advance for the consideration and all the best!

text. direction. button. Give it back.
I have InDesign CC, I think it's multilingual, and now I have to do a layout entirely in Arabic. After a whole day of trying to work out how to do it I realized that the reason it was so difficult to change text direction from LTR to RTL is BECAUSE THERE IS NO MORE BUTTON (I used to accidentally activate it on my old photoshop, that is why I remember there being one)
ANYWAY
two days in and I still can't find the direction option ANYWHERE and at this point I'm royally ****** because I'm either too dumb to find the thing or the thing is gone and I'm unable to do my job. I've searched everywhere, gone to every website, checked every single tutorial and wherever they show the option I DON'T HAVE IT THERE. OR ANYWHERE.This really sucks and I don't get why would Adobe EVER remove something as useful as that. Granted I don't need it every single day BUT WHEN I DO MY SALARY DEPENDS ON IT.
I hope you reconsider the decision to remove the button.

Page Numbering "Don't Include in Page Numbering" Option
I use INDD for proposals that include covers and tabs. Right now, it's pretty cumbersome to get the cover and tabs to not be included in the page count. Currently, you have to restart the number at a specific interval based on where the tabs are at and change your cover and tabs pages to include a Section Prefix as to not duplicate page numbers, so it's a little tedious. So my first three pages are called A1 A2 and A3...then 1 2...then B3 (for tab 1)...then 3 4 5 etc. Can we just have a "check box" under Numbering & Section Options that says "don't include in page count"? That would be amazing!

Table import from word assigns no table style not default [basic table]
When importing (place) Word doc with tables, the tables are assigned the table style of [No Table Style] not the default [Basic Table]. Either provide a mechanism to edit the [No Table Style] or use the default [Basic Table]

Link Font Size with Leading
As someone who is often laying out text in large booklet type documents, I often need to adjust text and leading on text to visually suit the design Im working on. An annoying function Ive run into (definitely not the end of the world) is that if I may need to adjust the size of the font and the leading of it to suit what I need... If I then adjust the size of the text, the 'custom' leading size doesn't constrain to the size of the font as you increase it.
This would be an awesome feature to be included, and would save a bit of time when working with fonts and text sizing.

Migrate Workspaces On App Updates
ALWAYS migrate user workspaces when an app is updated.
It is SO FRUSTRATING to be on a tight deadline and have your UI blow up because Adobe pushed a version update without migrating over your workspace settings.
There is no point in having savable user workspaces if they all disappear every time you update the application.

Lock the ability of InCopy users to change things like kerning, leading and character compression
InCopy users sometimes take too many liberties with their abilities to change copy. Flowing copy is one thing, but shoehorning in more or less copy than intended allows for too much grey area, and it can take more time to go back and fix what they've broken than it would if that ability was limited for them. If InCopy settings in an InDesign document had check boxed that toggle which abilities InCopy users would have (and grey out disallowed settings), that would be wonderful.

Please add InDesign as a supported Creative Cloud file type
I was very excited to learn more about CC files and libraries during Max. I wanted to start implementing CC files to take advantage of versions and file sharing. It's very disappointing to learn that InDesign isn't currently a program that's supported for CC file saving. Please add it.

Avoid Widows and Orphans in Paragraph Styles
It would be great to have a check box or even a separate tab for Widows and Orphans in Paragraph Styles. Right now you have to use GREP to get this to work or control them manually. It would be a huge time saver to add this option into the style settings. These are well-known and widely used typography rules that should be a part of InDesign.

Document related preferences should be accessible from "document setup" window, not from preferences panel.
