Option to cancel exporting to JPG
Currently there is no option to cancel exporting the indesign file to JPG.
Once the process is started we are not able to cancel it.
If there is a 100-page document exported to jpg we have to wait a lot of time depending on the system spec.
If there is a cancel process button where it shows the process of exporting that will be great.1 vote -
A strange space at the beginning of each line after the first letter.
I occasionally encounter a strange and annoying bug, which sometimes also causes me damage to clients. After the first letter at the beginning of each line, a space is created, and I can not undo the space.
Please solutions

InDesign keeps crashing while copying and pasting text between files
While copying and pasting text from one InDesign file to another, the program often crashes. Today I finally understood what helps to avoid this: You need to break the links to all paragrahp styles before copying and pasting, then it works fine. Please try to fix this bug, it´s really annoying...
Thanks!

CS6 future use
32-bit CS6 InDesign works with High Sierra, though with some minor irritations. It will not work at all once Mac goes over solely to 64-bit. It is disgraceful that Adobe tries to make one go over to subscription-only CC. I for one, and I am sure I am not the only one, want nothing to do with a cloud-based subscription, with which you lose access to your own work if you stop paying the sub. For this reason, in preparation for the future, I have just bought 64-bit non-subscription QuarkXpress, at a roughly half-price offer for such as InDesign users (I think the offer may have just expired – not sure). Although Quark will obviously take some time to get used to after years with InDesign, at first glance, whatever Quark was in the past, it now looks good and relatively intuitive. Personally, I think there is cause for a class action against Adobe for the way they are holding InDesigners to ransom. I urge Adobe to make it possible for work done with CS6 to be able to be opened in the future, for example when Mac goes over to 64-bit only. Thank you

Easy text export of color number information for Branding
On branding projects, I have to provide my clients with all their color number information, and make it look pretty at the same time. A way to export or copy/paste the cmyk, rgb, hex, pantone, lab information would be hugely helpful! See example

Duplicate interactive buttons in Indesign
InDesign Interactive buttons
I have duplicate button names but I'm having a difficult time locating the duplicate. If I could use the Tabbing Order box to highlight the button on the page, it would save huge amounts of time! Thanks.1 vote -
print to pdf as poster in custom page sizes
Please add print poster to pdf as pages size feature like adobe dc in windows. In mac, we can't print poster as pdf files. Like print 1650 mm x 630 mm as 15 files pdf in F4 size, 330x5=1650 210x3=630. 1650 x 630 = 15 F4 Papers.

CC Libraries save location info to place graphics in specific positions
Currently, only INDL libraries save object placement info, so when you right click and select place, an item will be in the correct position on the page. Please add this to CC library items as well.

This is the first time that my adobe indesign files are exporting to a blank document. I see the images; I know they are there.
Why are the pages exporting to blank? I have not allowed bleed or slugs and they still export blank. I cannot upload my published book.

Integration of Behance with InDesign
Unlike Illustrator, where it's relatively easy to copy and paste reference images, I find it difficult to refer back to my references. Although all applications throughout the Adobe CC could really use this feature, I especially would like for it to be considered with InDesign.
I would like to highlight/sort certain artwork on Behance that I can then view in the "CC Libraries" tab. This would allow me to quickly view and refer back to my inspirations. I really think this is a missed opportunity, since Adobe has already acquired Behance and shows little-no interest of connecting it with applications.

Use spine as origin by default
By default the origin of the spread is to the upper left. This makes symmetrical placement with exact numbers quite awkward as you have to manually add and subtract the page width. There is already a setting for using the spine as origin, but in my view this is the sensible default value. I can't really think of any reason why you'd want to define coordinates on the right page from the outer corner of the left page. An origin that lies symmetrically where the pages meet makes so much more sense to me.

Removing the 1 point minimum value between tab stops
When setting tab stops next to each other Indesign has a minimum value of 1 point between stops.
This is too much in many cases.
For instance if you want to have hanging quotation marks using tabs this minimum value makes the distance too large in most text sizes. Please let the user define the minimum value freely.

Make “Undeline Options” in the Character panel maintain the last settings.
Please make “Undeline Options” in the Character panel maintain the last settings and apply those to each new underlinining, as opposed to resetting to the default every time. As this makes us users have to go into the Character dropdown for “Undeline Options” and set the distance and with over and over and over and over again ... Yes, applying styles may take care of this problem but I don’t alway bother to create styles for each small project. Thank you!

When you issue a new version of ANY Adobe package keep the help text in synch
It is a poor indicator of an organisations ability to manager Quality Control in it's software when it allows the hep text to fall behind the release cycle. Using the most recent version of CC Indesign, the Help text suggests that I am able to add a new page by using the pages panel. It further goes in to say that if it is NOT visible it will be in the Window menu. When I check the menu there is no such facility.

Strip Newlines from Cross-References and Table of Contents
When taking some headlines that have newlines in them, cross reference also keep inline newlines in the text they output. This can also occur in table of contents.
It would be nice to have a checkbox that would strip newlines from these.
There is also a bug where if a heading's style changes in the middle of the paragraph (I have a box with a smaller heading and then a colon with a subtitle afterwards eg. "Abilities: Learning to Stack Techniques", the text before the colon and the text after have different styles), sometimes the cross reference will output that styling instead of the destination styling (I have just checked it still happens, at least for Table of Contents). If this can't be fixed easily it might be good to have a checkbox with "Enforce destination formatting" to prioritize the formatting at the destination.

Choose page number when inserting a PDF
When inserting a pdf into a frame box, it would be nice to be able to select which page number you'd like to insert (with a preview). Similar to when you open a PDF in illustrator.

Correction in Dictionary Criteria for Hyphens (Portuguese)
Most of hyphenation in Portuguese splits sylables from two consonants in a row (r-r, s-s Ex: 'car-ro', 'profis-são'), but this is not true for nasal sounds formed with the letter H (lh, nh) and I see myself having to review this hyphenation constantly. For example, the correct hyphenation is 'traba-lho', but inDesign usually hyphenates 'trabal-ho' (which is incorrect). It is a simple addition to the program that could save a lot of reviewing time.
There are some other issues too.
Could you please check that out and review the hyphenation rules as of grammar? Portuguese has quite a bit of peculiar ruler, but it will be worth it!
