Comment
It will be good to have InDesign for Web and allow users to comment and collaborate with each other like Figma or Canva. So many back and forth handoffs can be avoided in the publishing world just by enabling these features.

What are the risks of using the Lotus 365 betting app?
Using the Lotus 365 betting app involves several risks. Firstly, it operates without legal regulation in India, meaning users may face legal consequences depending on local laws. Secondly, the app is downloaded via unofficial sources, which can expose users to malware or personal data theft. Thirdly, there’s no guarantee of fair play, secure transactions, or reliable customer support. Users often report delayed withdrawals, blocked accounts, or scams. Furthermore, online betting can be addictive and lead to significant financial loss. Anyone using the app should do so responsibly and be aware of the legal, financial, and cybersecurity risks involved. https://lotus365shop.com/

What is Reddy Anna betting and how does it work?
Reddy Anna betting refers to an informal network of sports betting often associated with cricket in India, particularly in South India. Operated by syndicates or bookies, it involves placing bets on various outcomes in a match, like runs scored, wickets, or match winners. Bettors place money through local agents, and odds are set by the bookies. It's usually done via phone or apps like Telegram or WhatsApp. Despite its popularity, Reddy Anna betting is illegal in India under the Public Gambling Act, making participants and organizers vulnerable to legal consequences and financial risks. https://reddyannaplay.co.in/

Save sections
Would it be possible to create an option to Save As a selection of pages. I create books and have to divide the into sections when I"m finished all the pages. Example: A 192 page book. Save As Pages 5-48 only.

Need more options in the links panel.
Would like to select a group of links and do a group replace without having to do them 1 at a time. Or even better, select a group of links and group replace them with a SPECIFIC PAGE of a PDF (without doing one at a time).
I do a lot of design for print. Think of a page with 24-up business cards. This would be so helpful with something like that.1 vote -
the ability to assign direct keyboard shortcuts to Character Styles, just as we can with Paragraph Styles
I’d like to request a long-overdue feature that would significantly improve efficiency for many users: the ability to assign direct keyboard shortcuts to Character Styles, just as we can with Paragraph Styles (Apply Style 1–9).
Why this matters:
In many editorial and layout workflows, character styles (like emphasis, inline bold, or language-specific styling) are used just as frequently as paragraph styles. The current workaround—creating scripts for each style and manually assigning shortcuts through the Keyboard Shortcuts panel—is unnecessarily complex for a feature that feels fundamental.
This limitation is particularly frustrating because character styles are already present in the UI, and…

How to make the current font point to sorted position in the font list? Instead of the recent list.
When I close the recent fonts list and view the fonts used for certain characters, it points to the font's middle position in the list.
But when you open the recent fonts list, it points to the most recent list. Sometimes this gives me a choice to get stuck. Because, sometimes I need to reselect the font down or up near the original font.
Yes, the recent list is sometimes more convenient. But sometimes it's not the most needed.
Now, I want to keep the recent list, but when I want to see the currently used font, I want it…

Missing Native macOS PDF/Email Workflow Support
As a macOS user, I’m frustrated by how the Adobe suite bypasses one of the platform’s most useful features: the ability to generate and email PDF files directly from the Print dialog.
macOS includes a built-in PDF menu that allows users to save a printout as a PDF or create an email with the PDF attached—no intermediate steps required. It’s fast, efficient, and built for productivity.
However, Adobe applications ignore this native integration. Instead, we’re forced to go through an outdated and cumbersome process: export the document as a PDF, save it manually, open an email client, and then attach…

Save state of checkbox "Preview" in dialogs, which since ages does resets after every maj/min-update – in contrast to the Preferences 😭
A crazy idea, to not have the user do settings AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN!
You cant tell me, there is noone angry with this behaviour. Or everybody has resignated after years, and has accepted this extremly bad UX, which you cant be proud of.

Displaying docs side by side; use the whole screen
I have two docs to either compare or take details from etc, I need them side by side, so I use the Window > Arrange option and have them in whatever config I need. They then resize to ⅔ the screen size next to each other. Then grabbing a corner to resize the window makes them jump all over the place. It works perfectly fine when I split a window (Window > Arrange > Split Window), it keeps the doc full size of the screen, so why not when tiling?

We need text variables whose values can change PER SECTION.
I'm mystified that there's no way to (for example) specify a name for a section in a document. "Section marker" is not a solution, because you frequently need to use that to display a section NUMBER (which should also be a built-in marker).
So I created a text variable called "section name," but found it was useless because there's no way to set a variable's value per section. Don't most document sections have names?

Scrollytelling! (InDesign Publish Online update request)
It would be amazing if you added "scrollytelling" capabilities to Publish Online!
Scrollytelling is the interactive, scrolling interactive online media that the NY Times and other sites use to craft stories in an engaging way. See Shorthand.com or Vev.design for examples. It seems like adding this functionality would bring life and added engagement to a piece of InDesign that I feel has been underserved for a while. How feasible is it to add Scrollytelling? Let's make it happen!

Automatic French Punctuation Spacing Based on Language Settings
In French typography, it is standard practice to insert a narrow non-breaking space before certain punctuation marks such as colons, semicolons, exclamation marks, and question marks. While InDesign correctly applies French hyphenation and dictionary rules when the language is set to French, it does not automatically handle these essential spacing conventions. This omission often leads to typographic issues such as widowed punctuation at the end of lines, especially in justified text. Currently, users must manually apply non-breaking spaces or rely on GREP styles and Find/Change routines to correct these. It would greatly enhance multilingual typesetting workflows if InDesign automatically inserted…

Besides entering coordinate values, does InDesign have a function to align two path points?
For aligning one or two points, the best way is probably to enter coordinate values, but can it be a bit slow sometimes.
Wouldn't it be cool to have this feature in the alignment panel.

Export from InDesign to Adobe Express with frames & keep the frames as frames not as shapes that can't be filled with photos or color.
Export documents containing frames from InDesign to Adobe Express & keep the frames as frames not converting them to shapes that cannot be filled with photos or color.
I'm working on a project with a document created in Adobe InDesign, which may have photos, fill colors, or be blank to fill in Adobe Express. When I export to Adobe Express, the frames convert into elements/shapes, preventing me from placing photos or changing the fill color. This limits my ability to design efficiently and uniformly. Recreating in Express or using new boxes and masking doesn't solve the issue, especially for custom…1 vote -
Provide Options for Export to Express
Please provide choices when using the export to Adobe Express function. Right now there are none, and I cannot directly export a high resolution, letter-sized, print-ready document into Express without dimension downsizing and image resolution loss.
Having these options via a direct transfer into Express is critical to being able to quickly transfer current Indesign documents into correctly-sized, print-ready, editable templates for use bt non-design users at my organization.
