Rename Hyperlink
Add the 'rename hyperlink' option to the 'edit hyperlink' window. I find it essential to identify hyperlinks by their names. But I often edit them. After I edit a link, and I want to rename it to better identify it, I have to open a new window just to rename it. This is quite inefficient.
In the Hyperlinks panel, with the Name of hyperlink shown highlighted, clicking once more on the highlighted name enables you to ‘rename’ the hyperlink right there.
Hope this helps.

For example, I select a logo and I make a new hyperlink so that clicking it goes to a website. This means I first make the hyperlink using the New Hyperlink window. This automatically named the hyperlink in the hyperlink panel using the filename of the logo. I don't want that to be the name of it, so I then have to go to the hyperlink panel and edit the name by clicking there. I'd like to be able to edit the name of that hyperlink in the same initial 'New Hyperlink' window so it's one process, not two.

this changes the name of the link, but not the text display of the link in the document, which is what i believe the user above was asking for.

how do you rename the link, but still keep the hyperlink address the same? for example, instead of displaying the entire link for a portfolio page, showing: "My Portfolio" as the text, with a hidden URL linking to the correct destination address?
thank you
