Increment Settings for Tracking/Kerning Applied to Control Panel Interface
Idea referenced in the link below.
This idea is already implemented in the preferences menu under Units & Increments but it's only applied to keyboard shortcuts. I don't see why this setting wouldn't be included for the tracking and kerning settings in the control panel. As mentioned in the link, needing to let go of the mouse just to adjust tracking is a nuisance.
I never increase tracking by 10 when typesetting to adjust for the rag of a text block. Having the increments hard set to 10 effectively makes the control panel useless to me when typesetting. Oddly this…

InCopy - Export to PDF - option for hyperlinks
An option to include hyperlinks in InCopy's Export/Adobe PDF function would:
- Help editors in proofing rounds with authors
- Free up designers from having to export hyperlinked PDFs for author proofs from InDesign.
My editors work in InCopy and export PDF proofs for our authors to proof. Unfortunately, since the hyperlinks don't export, authors can't check them for accuracy.
Worse yet, Acrobat tries to make the links work but URLS split between lines result in broken links, giving Authors the impression the hyperlinks are there but incorrect. Having the hyperlinks actually export from InCopy will help our authors more accurately proof…

GPU Support Indesign Windows 10 is urgently needed!
Why is GPU Support for Windows/Indesign not already running yet?
Other vendors have still good and fast running...
Plaes give soon a feedback when we can start with GPU Power in Indesign on Windows Systems...
Otherwise the way leads to other products, which support GPU (for ex. NVidia Quad) under Windows 10...

allow pasting from left page to right page in master- exactly the same location
Every time I make a new document- my masters can be complex but the left and right side of the same master are a pain to make exactly the same.
So either make copy and paste work better in masters or add a feature that allows left and right sides to be lined up the same.
I want to be able to set all my parts and then set guides on the left side—
and then copy them ALL- guides, date, page numbers, doc name and other items to EXACTLY paste in the right hand side.

Ability to search for cell format
I want to be able to search for a cell styles in the same way I can search for a colour or text style. I like a tidy document and want to ensure that only the cell styles I want are used. Sometimes there are hangovers from old files and it is impossible to search for that cell style name.

Map Process Colors to Spot in Ink Manager
Allow mapping/alias of process colors CMYK to Spot in Ink Manager. This can be done downstream during the output process, but I would like the ability to preview the change to verify what I will get. Thanks!

Floating Paragraph Rules Panel
A floating/dockable paragraph rules panel would be helpful when having to change a file with multiple paragraph rules applied manually and not in a style. As it is now I have to select each instance and open the dialog box and change the rule settings. Also, show both rule above and below at the same time in the dialog box! Thanks!

Paragraph Rules in Find/Change
Please add Paragraph Rules to the Find Change dialog box. I often need to change rule thickness or color to paragraph rules that are not in a paragraph or character style. Manually changing each selection takes quite a bit of time and should be automated. Thanks!

Put color into tabs of documents (while working on several open)
it would be great to use colors in document tabs, when using several open... (one should be able to color the tabs when working on different documents, sometimes its difficult to find the one I needed to paste into. Look the file attached

Customise Home / Welcome Screen in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.. possibly all Adobe programs.
I work across a variety of Adobe programs and have MANY custom templates I use on a daily basis.
It would be great to have the ability to customise the indesign / photoshop / illustrator welcome screen to have shortcuts to my custom templates I use on a daily basis. This could be placed next to "Recent" with "Your Custom Templates" .. something like this.

"Remove Frame" option
If you have several items that are grouped together in a frame, it can be difficult to edit them. You have to cut them out of the frame to ungroup them.

Fold marks in export settings for spreads
Hello,
I work with cover spreads quite a bit....3 facing pages. Back Cover-Spine-Front Cover. The printer I work with, a very large commercial printer, requests fold marks on the spine. They want them the same size/offset as the outer crop marks. When you have a spread and you check "crop marks" in the export settings, InDesign puts marks on the spine that are smaller and offset further away from the trim than the outer marks. Automatic image link if the Links folder is in the same folder as the document.
InDesign should automatically find images if the Links folder is in the same folder as the document. The old InDesign was able to do this. I'm constantly having to update links when the folder is moved around, and this also means re-saving the file, which changes the modification date.

Show picture as it is being resized
In CS5 we could drag the corner of a picture and the picture would change as you pulled down. The new version only changes the frame and you can't see what the picture is doing. We print over 1,000 pictures in our weekly publication and this takes a HUGE amount of extra time to get the picture to the size we need it in the frame.

We should be able save reusable presets for all our HTML export settings, in the same way that we can save presets for PDF exporting.

Please add free templates that come with a paid subscription to InDesign and Illustrator.
It's ridiculous that I am paying for InDesign and Illustrator, and I don't have access to adobe stock. I need some templates and I shouldn't have to pay additionally for templates for InDesign and Illustrator.

Suppress Running Header on Chapter first page
Add a setting to Running Header to NOT DISPLAY if current page contains <chapterTitle> style.
This permits a document to reflow, changing pagination, while always suppressing the Running Header on the first page of a chapter. In this way, many documents would retain proper chapter start formatting without having to manually go through and apply a special Master Page (and remove the previous Master Page) whenever pagination changes.

Long, NOT complicated, password requirements
Can you please stop asking me to write password with ridiculously complicate rules to try and make them more secure?! What's more is you force people to use something they have never used before as a password every time it gets re-set. What you have to remember is that REAL PEOPLE with REAL WORKING BRAINS need to be able to actually REMEMBER their password. Discrete Zoom vs. Resize Multi-touch Gesture Preferences
Currently the enable/disable Multi-touch Gestures preferences turn on and off all multi-touch gestures, including multitouch resizing of content and interface actions, such as zoom. It would be great to have an option to preserve multi-touch UI gestures, such as zoom separate from enabling resizing of content. For example, it would be useful to be able to zoom in and out with multitouch in any area without having it actually affect content.
