Disable paragraph border end rule across columns in InDesign
We have option to merge paragraph border for set of paragraphs in InDesign. This results in enabling top and bottom rule for 1st and last consecutive paragraphs only.
In this case, when a paragraph breaks into next column, then bottom rule will not enable for 1st column(screenshot 1). But if whole paragraph goes into next column, the bottom rule enables for 1st column (Screenshot 2).
Expectation: But our client has requested to disable the bottom rule in 1st column regardless of how the paragraph breaks.

Drop down menu mixed with replace feature for contacts/agreements
Inside of InDesign, I'd love a way to use the drop down menu feature that when you select an option inside of there it replaces that word with the newly selected word throughout a document. This would be great for contract/agreements, or any long documents.
For example the drop down menu could have "marketer", "consultant", "freelancer", etc. Then depending on which item you selected it would replace that word inside the document entirely!

Edit linked spreadsheet table's cell range
I have multiple documents that contain hundreds of tables linked to cell ranges on different spreadsheets.
It would be really helpful to be able to edit the linked cell range of each table, instead of having to go through all the table linking steps each time I need to change the cell range.

option to read in spectrophotometer results
Create a import option to accept readings from a spectro. that can identify its closest PMS color - and or - create a new SPOT swatch that uses the opposite values of the Lab readings to compensate that value to achieve an closer DeltaE reading on the next print of a specified PMS value that you are wanting to reach

Stroke & Corner Options independent of each other
We create instruction sheets for setting up/updating retail displays. We use bolder and various colored strokes (object styles) to indicate which items are new to/changing location on/exiting a fixture. If none of these apply, a default (thinner/black) stroke is used. Sometimes the strokes have rounded corners or custom shapes ...and we need to use the stroke option to force the very thick stroke to align outside or it covers up the art within.
With each new update, we start by setting all strokes back to the default (gloabal find/change) and then change individual strokes as needed. But because Stroke &…

Full Font features from within Style Sheets.
When making a paragraph style or charachter style. The font family opitions are limited as compared to the new font options available from the main screen, it would be great if the full feature set could be incorporated at least show is the font we are choosing not just the name. Thanks.

Touch Mode for InCopy
Unless it's my incompetence, I see no touch mode for InCopy, whereas there is for InDesign. With Microsoft's ink editor option that is appealing to more and more people, I think it would awesome for Adobe to implement a touch mode (to use, for instance, on a Microsoft Surface with the Surface Pen) like InDesign's but more catered toward editors and writers.

Save As location
Right now the Save As location seems to be the PREVIOUS folder location where I saved a file.
However, in other programs like Photoshop, the default location goes to the same folder as opened file.
Consulted help center and got no solution other than rerouting every time I save as a file. PLEASE also make the default Save As location in InDesign to the same location as opened file!! I'm working on like 3 or more projects at the same time and have to reroute the save location all the time! In fact I accidentally overwrote an important working file…1 vote -
It would be helpful to see how many tracked amends are in an InCopy file and PDFs of the InCopy amends
It would be helpful to see how many tracked amends and a break down of the type of amends eg. 7 insertions, 12 deletions etc. in InCopy and PDFs of the InCopy amends. Like you can do in Microsoft Word.
This is something that would be very useful for our company.

As an admin I need the visibility of usage of my provisioned licenses.
Admins need to be able to view usage of licenses.

J'ai un document d'une centaine de page, sur toutes ces pages j'ai des hyperliens qui pointent sur différentes pages web, dans ces hyperliens j'ai un nombre a 6 chiffres qui est tjs identiques sur tout mes hyperliens, j'aimerais comme quand on utilise la fonction remplacer (ctrl+f) pouvoir remplacer ce nombre de 6 chiffre par un autre nombre sur tout mes hyperliens.
Est il possible de le faire ou de créer cette option?

Offer landscape long-edge bound view in pages panel
When designing calendars and long-edge bound landscape documents (such as flip charts), it would a tremendous help to have a setting that shows pages in two-page spreads on top of each other rather than beside each other.

Make Ink Manager panel resizable
Title says it all. Sometimes we have a lot of spotcolors. I would be nice to see them all at once.

Easier moving pages from one document to another
When moving pages to another document InDesign tends to make a new Alternative Layout for these, without asking.
My documents have the same page size, so please just add the pages,
or at least give the choice to append the pages or to create an Aternate Layout.

Colour Themes for in-RIP separation
Not sure whether to post this as colours, printing or CC Libraries.... Perhaps all of them...
I print with in-RIP separations to match named colours in InDesign with the printer RIP to always receive accurate colours for comparing to customer colouring scales or calibrating new custom colours with a photo spectrometer. When creating a custom colour theme for a customer, I cannot do this because I cannot give each colour an individual name and as such I need to manually add every colour and rename them as needed.

Convert placed ai to outlines
We get a lot of files with placed .ai art/logos with various color modes/values. It would be great if there was an option (similar to converting text to outlines but for vector art) that would make them editable (as if they'd been copy/pasting from ai, no longer linked) right within indd.
If there is a way/script to do this already, I'd appreciate any info/links for it.

Ability to assign or turn off "id" values for Object styles tags
Currently, when "include classes" is checked, the HTML export creates "id" values for Object styles tags.
This would be more useful if there was a way to define the "id" value, but there seems to be no way to do that. I assume the "Object Export Options" under the EPUB/html tab would be the natural spot, or also in the Object Style as a global control.
Also, an option to turn off the "id" and still export the class would be ideal.
Attached is a screenshot of the the id values in a sample export.
