Share for Review is to quickly share a design that is still a work-in-progress with the Reviewer(s) for quick feedback. Since the review opens in a browser for the reviewer, it has to load quickly even on slow networks, that’s why the image quality has been kept low deliberately so that the page loads quickly without long wait times. Using high-res views will slow down the loading of pages in the browser considerably, marring the experience.
Hope this helps.

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedI definitely appreciate prioritizing performance over visual fidelity. I've never seen a preview take longer than 2 seconds to resolve.
Having said that, I would gladly wait 5 times that length of time even just for medium res of images. InDesign is known for precision, and I feel Adobe has missed the mark of what designers need to provide to clients. Allow the user to choose hi-res via a button and find out what's important :)

Thanks for the info. This is indeed correct that since the various artboards come in as a layers the dimensions are of the entire document which can be problematic. Adding this to our backlog.
An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedHm, over 5 years later and this is still 'in backlog'? Sometimes I wonder if it's actually InDesign itself that is in backlog.
Please give the artboard option the same treatment as the Layer Comp option in the Import Options dialog box. It will make a huge difference in workflow.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedThis already exists for XD documents--would love it to be available for PO in the same way.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedI would use this all the time as I modify my main workspaces to cater to different tasks, or just when experimenting with different workflows. It was great when it became possible to replace a workspace. Now take it to its logical conclusion--the ability to update, or redefine, a workspace.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedI'm working on a Wheel of Fortune and triangular button shapes would be very helpful. Would it be easier to make it only shapes made of straight line segments?

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedIt's a severe limitation that makes Publish Online completely unusable for professional work. Imagine if every PDF that was exported from InDesign came with non-removable Adobe navigation? Unacceptable.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedIf the central publication for Teams is too much--and I can see how it would be complicated to implement--a manual 'give the following Adobe ID or IDs publish rights to overwrite this document' would do the trick. We just need to get off the single point of failure.
Thanks for listening!

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedThis feature hasn't been updated since CC 2014! Please spend some time looking at improving it so that people don't have to rely on sketchy outside services just to get an event QR code.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedI'm surprised that this still isn't a feature. It would seem such an easy thing to do.

An error occurred while saving the comment Maurice Williams commentedJust thought I'd chime in here--plenty of people need to output digital assets from InDesign, especially now during the pandemic when less and less printing is happening. That script from marspremedia is great but we really need built-in output features on the level of Photoshop.
This is a necessary addition to any review feature
