An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedI very much agree. I find myself constantly switching between preview and grid mode. It's easy enough to do, but it's visually disruptive. If I am able to choose the opacity, I can work with the grid almost constantly on while minimizing the visual distractions.

Hello All,
Thank you for your patience all this while.
We had launched our investigation into the matter to get to the root cause of the problem. As the part of our investigation, we had reached out to many of you personally over email.
We have concluded our investigation and have come up with few findings.1. For many of the users the issue got fixed after updating InDesign to a newer version.
2. For some, the issue got resolved after disabling a third-party application such as Suitecase fusion etc.
3. For few, the issue was intermittent and is no longer reproducible.
4. For majority of the users, the underlying cause of the performance issue was identified to be related to span columns, cross-references, third party plugin etc.We have created separated threads for these issues and we are now working towards resolving them.
However, over the time this thread…

An error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedThe selection cursor randomly disappears. The arrow shows on the window, but once it's hovering within the pasteboard space, it can't be seen. I will likely have to restart the program to get it back.

https://helpx.adobe.com/indesign/kb/fixed-issues.htmlAn error occurred while saving the comment Anonymous commentedIt often collapses, but when it doesn't, it freezes or lags. Sometimes I get my cursor over the font I want to select, but when I click, it jumps to another font and selects that one. Absolute nightmare ad productivity killer. This is terrible for those of us working with tight deadlines.

All I have to do is copy drag placed pdf files to get a missing fonts popup. It also happens when I open my file and copy/paste within the document. I'm tired of this. It feels impossible to shuffle items on a page because of this.
PLEASE FIX!
Note: I'm using Suitcase Fusion. The problem improved once I made changed according to suggestions, but those changes are still in place, yet the problem has returned.
