An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedEvery day, InDesign tells me that a particular Century Schoolbook font is not available. I do Find / Replace Font, select a different font, and Change All [including style definition].
Next day: same problem with same font [which supposedly is not in the document any more]. NOTE: As previously reported,I had to eliminate all Gil Sans fonts from another project for the same reason.

Hi,
Have you started to face problems only after updating to 15.0.2 version of InDesign?
Can you share a sample file and a video showing the steps you use for printing at amaarora@adobe.com?Thanks
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedScreen recording sent.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedI can't share that file, and I have a deadline coming up.
As soon as I can, I'll see if I can replicate the problem with another file. And get you a screen of the process for creating the file.
I had similar problems a year or so ago, but I don't know which version was up at the time.

The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – version 16.1
Please update to this version to get the fix.—
Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedIt's even worse if I try to Open… a document from within InDesign — it fails to find many more fonts that are not system fonts but are in the Document Fonts folder
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedInDesign says fonts are missing even in a file that was saved on this same computer and had no errors then.
It's not right for Adobe to charge a monthly fee for an app that does not work reliably or even consistently.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedAnd when I do Find Font, the 'missing' fonts are sometimes shown as available, but if I do Change All, nothing happens; they still show as missing.

To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2021(v16.0.0.77) as it is more robust and contains a lot of bug fixes.
We seek your support in our continual effort to improve InDesign.

Adobe InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedI submit a crash report to Adobe every time InDesign crashes — but I don't know where they go at Adobe.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedManaged to open the document and save it as an idml. Opening that also crashed InDesign.
An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedNote: Even after saving the successfully-opened document, I was unable to open it again without crashing InDesign

An error occurred while saving the comment Peter Crownfield commentedIt also fails to find some system-installed fonts; even Find Font doesn't include them as options.

Created new TOC style, saved it, clicked OK, got loaded cursor — but when I tried to place it, InDesign crashed.
