    The fix for this issue is now available in the latest update of InDesign – version 16.1

    Please update to this version to get the fix. To prevent problem on existing documents and see the footnotes again, you will have to force recompose the stories.
    To force recompose stories, you can use the shortcut Command-Option-/ (slash) on Mac or Ctrl-Alt-slash on Windows

    Hello All,

    Thank you for reporting the issue to us.
    We have fixed the issue in the latest version of InDesign, Id 14.0.3

    Please upgrade your InDesign application to the latest version to try out the fix.

    If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud desktop application, open the menu (three dots) from the top-right corner and click on ‘Check For App Updates’.

    If you face any problems with the new update, do let us know in the comments.

    This is what we expecting too and we don't thing why Adobe is not focusing on XML side. We're very struggling to handle XML first workflow within InDesign.

    I don't think, why Adobe is not concentrating with MathML and am depending with 3rd party plug-ins always for Math from many years.

    Can you please include this feature in InDesign at least next release.

    This is very important for Typesetting process, please include Vertical Justification option in InDesign to avoid more manual works during pagination.

    Hello, am using MathType plug-in, but it is not supported for OTF especially in Special character. we're expecting to handle all type of complex equations and chemical equations in Adobe InDesign itself. when this will be implemented in live, please confirm.
