Hello,
For several months now, when I place a .docx document in inDesign, it can happen that a character is misinterpreted by inDesign.
It's as if it's invisible for the layout, but it actually cuts the word in half for spelling correction, for example.
When I copy it to search for it with inDesign with or without GREP, it does paste something (a lowercase L or an uppercase i preceded by a ^ in normal or ~ in GREP) but it doesn't find it.
When displaying hidden characters it appears as two vertical red dots (see my photo).
Sometimes it also appears at the very beginning of a sentence.French :

Depuis plusieurs mois, lorsque je place un document .docx dans inDesign, il peut arriver qu’un caractère soit comme mal interprété par inDesign.

InDesign 2021 will not open and can't uninstall
After I installed the 2021 version of InDesign, it stopped functioning. It will not open and won't uninstall (all attempts through Creative Cloud and Windows have failed in errors).

Object Layer Options Causing Image to Glitch
When Object Layer Options are used (top image over graphic, bottom image under graphic box, for example), the image will glitch and polarize. When moving around the document or toggling between regular view and preview mode etc, the image will sporadically go back to normal or alter its representation.
Normal behaviour is for the image to show as expected.

No SEO capabilities when publishing online.
If you could add SEO capabilities to Interactive PDFs when using the "publish online..." option in InDesign that would be wonderful.

A numbered list style don't the numbers but plain bullet

New style based in another one.
In Viñetas y numeración I enter the following data (image)The output a list as show in second image (with no number but bullets).
Expected result must be:
A. xxxxxxxx
B. xxxxxxxx
C. xxxxxxxxWhen I'm creating a style of a numbered list. The style show me no numbres, but plain bullet instead.

fx text indesign missing
Missing fx content for text InDesign, version 16.0.2, January 18, 2021. Imac late 2015 Retina 5k.

Font no longer recognized. FIX NOW......
Prior to the InDesign 16.0.2 update, fonts worked fine. Now - fonts I've used for years (such as Futura Extra Bold) no longer work.
This needs to be fixed. NOW..

when creating new document the bottom of that window doesn't appear
I just downloaded Indesign but when creating new document the bottom of that window doesn't appear, so can't press "Create"

Set the application to not separate and hide document window from the Application Frame.

Upside down graphics in CC library Indesign version 16.0.2
I am trying to click and drag graphics from my document into a CC library and while the graphic is added, it is added upside down. When I double click on the graphic a new document opens up with just the graphic and it is once again upside down.

Photoshop .psb files grayed out in InDesign Open window.
Hi,
Photoshop .psb files grayed out in InDesign Open window. You cannot place PSB images using the "Place" command. However, you can drag and drop the file from the desktop into a InDesign picture box.Photoshop version is 22.1.1

macOS Catalina v10.15.7In fact, graying out of legitimate files happens on Catalina with other software. Excel sometimes cannot access to .xls or .xlsx files via the Open window.
Sometimes legitimate files appear grayed out when the Open window is first opened but may turn black after few seconds.

revisions are not showing
When my collaborators comment with a pin everything works but when they highlight a text, I see the comment but 1 time out of 2 the highlighted text is not highlighted. So I can't see where my collaborator wants me to make changes.

Alt + drag doesn't copy anymore, it only moves objects.

there are blue layers on all the pages at the window 'pages'.

Opening ID files from server: Missing required parameter
I've been using my Apple Time Capsule connected to my WiFi-Router as a wireless HD for a couple of years now. Since I updated to Mac OS 11 (Big Sur) I cannot open InDesign (v 16.0.1) files directly from my Time Capsule. I get an error which should translate to something like "Missing required parameter "form" for method "open" (see attached). When I copy the file on my desktop everything works like a charm.

Find text plays an error sound when I press Return, even though it finds the text
I have been working with indesign for a few months and already sent in about 10 bug reports. I feel like everytime I open the program I find a new issue. My colleagues say I have a knack for crashing programs or finding issues. I have a very similar problem with PS. I'm really frustrated with the UI and I can't imagine I'm the only one. I know this is a long shot, but feel free to contact me if you need a bug-spotter, because it feels like I found a lot already. And I have more issues that probably don't qualify as bugs.

Paragraph style outline cuts through text
After reopening chapters I sometimes find the outline of a paragraph going through the text instead of below it. I can't relyably reproduce it, but it has happened several times.
