InDesign 15.1.1 English dictionary missing plural word spellings
Since the update every plural word version is not in the dictionary. Simple, basic words like 'years' and 'days' now show as a spelling error. It was working fine before the latest update. Get it fixed - it's pointless having the spellchecker when so many basic words are missing!
Closing this issue as this is no longer happening.

Btw. the Czech dictionary Winsoft is completely broken in CC2020: it marks all words starting with lower case letter as wrong and recommends capitalising ALL words. Unfortunately the Winsoft dictionary is the only option as both Hunspell and Proximity are really bad. I will log a separate bug.

As a workaround, you can go to Preferences > Dictionary and change the Spelling dropdown from Hunspell to Proximity. Plurals then won't come up as being misspelled.

Please fix!
Screenshot attached, showing English (UK) Dictionary on the left returning spelling errors for plural words, versus English (USA) Dictionary on the right.

Also sometimes no longer recognises the first word within brackets, even if correctly spelt.

With the latest Indesign update (15.1), the dynamic spell-check is weirdly picking up all plurals as error. Can this be fixed please? Or if there is a preference we need to check let us know.
Many thanks
Kind regards

On the latest release the spell checker does not like plurals and some other words - Allows, remembers, contains, including, appears, asks, adjusting to name a few come up underlined in red since I updated to version 15.1 this morning. I am working on a proofed document and so I now the spelling were right yesterday. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean.
Very frustrating as being dyslexic I rely heavily on the spell checking function. Also can we also have back the auto corrections for grammar errors - ie missing caps etc, you used to right click and option appeared but vanished a couple of versions ago.
