Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Nina Bailey commentedWill someone please sort out the problem with indesign crashing when using dictation on the Mac. I am now on Big Sur and Indesign 2022 and the problem still exists. I am fed up with traditional designers quoting that text should be done outside of indesign. I am a successful author of ebooks which I design and publish myself and which sell in 75 countries but... I am dyslexic and although fast at typing not accurate due to my dyslexia. The dictation works superbly in Pages and at the moment I work in that and copy text over - also works in Word which also has grammerly running in the background and so has a better grammar check than indesign.... but it still crashes after about once sentence on indesign. You are doing thing such as changing the term Master to something else to be more "inclusive" how about making the program more friendly to those of us that have a different way of seeing language to allow us to work more easily.

Hi everyone,
InDesign provides an option to export and import User Settings, providing users with a smooth and enhanced experience to restore their custom settings if needed. The feature is now available in the latest InDesign 2024(v19.3.0.058)

Adobe InDesign teamAn error occurred while saving the comment Nina Bailey commentedOn the latest release the spell checker does not like plurals and some other words - Allows, remembers, contains, including, appears, asks, adjusting to name a few come up underlined in red since I updated to version 15.1 this morning. I am working on a proofed document and so I now the spelling were right yesterday. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean.
Very frustrating as being dyslexic I rely heavily on the spell checking function. Also can we also have back the auto corrections for grammar errors - ie missing caps etc, you used to right click and option appeared but vanished a couple of versions ago.

This only happens when viewing a large document - 200-300 pages but is very annoying - saving as a IDML then opening from that and resaving solves it for a bit but eventually they reappear - as per comment below its. another bug thats been there for years....
JUST LIKE CRASHING IF YOU TRY AND USE DICTATION FOR MORE THAN ONCE SENTENCE
