I am experiencing this multiple times daily. As I work with numerous files in a prepress setting daily (as well as supporting other similar users in an IT function), I find myself running in circles trying to make sure that the incorrect folders get removed so we don't have potential downtime due to someone removing the actual good file.

Having the same issue. My goodness, it's so annoying. Please handle it now.

This is slowing down my work time by a lot too. Every time I click inside an indesign file uploads like 5 of these lst files into my drive. And i dont have the option to work from my desktop. FIX THIS PLEASE.

How long does this issue have to be "under review" to fix it?

I downgraded to InDesign 15.0.1 and the problem went away.

So this appears to be an issue introduced in the 15.0.2 version of InDesign.

I have random previous folders appearing after I save an Illustrator file as an Adobe PDF. Totally unrelated to the file I just saved.

This issue is very serious!

We're having previously trashed and permanently deleted package folders magically reappear on our desktop.

This appears to be related to the packaging of fonts. Only the package folders where we included fonts reappear. If you do not include fonts then the package folder does not reappear.

Steps to replicate on our system (Mac OS 10.14.6, InDesign 15.0.2)

1) Restart InDesign and reset the preferences by holding down the requisite key combination.

Note: Deleting the InDesign preferences clears the condition temporarily, until the next time you package a document and include fonts.

2) Create a new document, or open an existing one.

3) Package the document and include fonts. Save package to the desktop as folder "PKG-1"

4) Delete the PKG-1 folder and empty the trash.

5) Repeat step 3 but save the package folder as "PKG-2".

6) The PKG-2 folder will be created, but the previously-deleted PKG-1 folder will reappear on the desktop as well.

Kindly repair this as soon as possible.

Same issue here and all of the files seem to have this file "AdobeFnt21.lst" in the fonts folder when collected.

It's true, it appeared first when I packaged a Indesign file. I have removed anything that had .lst after it. but it still keeps appearing, and keeps putting everything Ive trashed back on my desktop and also in a folder designated for packed art. (I have to do that now to keep straight what is good and whats not).

So now when I download anything from. my email, when I create a PDF in Indesign, boom there's everything back on my desktop. What do I need to do, have my mac wiped clean? If so how long before it starts up again? Do I need to go back to using an older version of indesign that not compatible with half the art I receive? Thanks.

Why does this take so long? it has been over a month and still no solution? it is so frustrating working with this bug.

This is really becoming an organizational nightmare. Folders i have deleted are coming back like zombies! Please fix.

Having the same issue with multiple duplicate files saving to desktop every time i open the packaged document. Please fix this bug.

After upgrading to InDesign 15.0.2, the "AdobeFnt.lst" file in the "Document fonts" is empty, i.e. it contains no font entries, despite the font files being present in the folder. This happens when creating a Package via "File > Package". In the report dialog that shows up before creating the package, all fonts are OK.

The AdobeFnt.lst file only has the following contents:

%!Adobe-FontList 1.20
%Locale:0x409

=> Here would now normally all the fonts in the "Document fonts" directory be listed. (%BeginFont etc.)

Up to InDesign 15.0.1 this worked flawlessly. The error can be reproduced on macOS Catalina and Mojave, Windows has not been tested. The font files (e.g. .ttf) are all present in the Document fonts directory.

Is this a bug or has the AdobeFnt.lst been deprecated / abandoned?

InDesign 2020 (15.0.2) is recreating extra folders after files have been packaged with images and fonts. please assist
