Using the eyedropper tool to copy text attributes crashes InDesign every time.
Fix of the issue is now available in InDesign’s latest November’17 update.
Please upgrade to the latest version InDesign CC 13.0.1 for the fix.
If you are unable to see the update, go to Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.
Thanks,

Hi
I have a similar problem with a eyedropper.
the text is patterned normally,
but when I take a color sample with a eyedropper and then transfer it to a new object - the new object is deleted, disappears from his placeI tried to go into the properties of the eyedropper (double click on the eyedropper)
after that I turned off the lower parameter
http://snap.ashampoo.com/324Jpiymafter that the problem was solved
try it, maybe you can do it this way.
sorry for bad english - google )))))

Hi, I have same issue. I've tried on existing documents and new documents and it only seems to happen when I use the eyedropper tool on text in a table. Other objects seem ok.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I've tried to reproduce it with other documents and actually haven't been able to (spent the morning fully committed to the one)... It's consistent with the one document, but only when trying to copy text in a table cell from text anywhere else in the document..
You can download the document here: https://we.tl/3hlQSOzPqw
Try highlighting the date in one of the calendar cells, then selecting the eyedropper tool and sampling another piece of text...
