Hello All,
We have fixed a number of stability issues with InDesign’s latest update. Please download the latest InDesign version.
If you are unable to see the update yet, go to Creative Cloud application, click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

I'm getting the same issue, with the same set up as Sascha. Have Googled and CC2015 had the same problem. Maybe it has returned?

Fix of the issue is now available in InDesign’s latest November’17 update.
Please upgrade to the latest version InDesign CC 13.0.1 for the fix.If you are unable to see the update, go to Creative Cloud application and click on the context menu on the top right and click on Check for App Updates.

InDesign TeamAn error occurred while saving the comment Craig commentedHi, I have same issue. I've tried on existing documents and new documents and it only seems to happen when I use the eyedropper tool on text in a table. Other objects seem ok.

Same here too. Running 16.2.1 on OSX 11.3.1. Have removed Suitcase and then uninstalled and re-installed Indesign and still beach balling and stalling every few edits. Lots of threads about this elsewhere but no sign of an answer.
