   InDesign has started supporting SEA languages since ID 2020. Adobe WR composer needs to be selected to compose in SEA languages correctly. Since Thai is a SEA language, please use Adobe WR composer for the correct composition of the text.

2. PDF EXPORT FEHLER

   Beim PDF Export von Indesign Seiten kam es bei vereinzelten Seiten ohne Fehlermeldung dazu das einige z.B. Überschriften und Textelemente einfach nicht mit exportiert wurden. Schriften sind in Ordnung - keine Fehler auch im Preflight!!!!

3. Bug: Ligatures cause inconsistent font weight in exported PDFs

   PDFs exported from InDesign and viewed in Chrome display inconsistent font weights, and the issue appears to be linked in some way to ligatures.

   In my own testing, I have found the following, but I am not entirely confident that this is a complete picture of the problem:

   • Ligatures turned on everywhere = lighter text
   • Ligatures turned off everywhere = bolder text
   • Ligatures turned on in some places = inconsistent font weight line by line. Not certain if there is a regular pattern to these inconsistencies.

   Issue seems to present only when exported PDFs are viewed in Chrome, but I have not tested extensively. Issue seems to persist regardless of any PDF export settings.

   Tested most thoroughly with Roboto font, but upon quick checks the issue appears to occur with others, too.

   Issue is most noticeable with white text on a colored background, however it is more subtly noticeable with a white background, as well. Issue occurs in documents with no transparencies, so that does not appear to be a root cause (I mention as the only other reported examples I could find of inconsistent font weight in PDF exports were apparently related to having transparent objects such as shadows and PNG images in the document).

   I believe I have found examples of this issue in InDesign-generated PDFs found on the web, as well (e.g. attached GoToWebinar PDF, pp. 2–3: note how lines including the ti ligature are lighter than others). As a result, I don't think the issue is specific to my machine/installation.

5. 'Background tasks' que updating fonts and so cannot PDF files

   I cannot PDF as in the 'Background tasks' que its updating fonts and I cannot stop it doing this and have to restart InDesign. Sort it out please. Also Adobe fonts are often not accessible and as a Studio we have been told to avoid using them.

6. Better Trackpad

   Hey. This may sound weird but I would love for the trackpad on my windows laptop to work the way it does on my mac since they've come such a long way. I bet users would appreciate the effort from your side.

7. Y coordinates incorrect when pasting objects on pages with different heights

   I have several pages with different heights. If I paste an object using "paste in place" from page to page, they do not paste in the correct Y location from the original. However, the X location is correct.

8. Command & Space Problems

   Updated to MACOS - Catalania, now animated zoom doesnt work anymore by holding COMMAND & SPACE! InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop can`t do it anymore. Also holding SPACE to move the Paper doesnt work anymore.

9. ルビのショートカット「Ctrl+Alt+R」といくつかの項目がローカライズできていません

10. zoom scroll pan

    Make it so Windows version of Adobe programs are capable of all gestures such as zoom and pan/scroll. This works perfectly fine on my MacBook, but on Windows I'm only able to chose if I can scroll/pan or zoom, but cannot zoom and pan. This makes working with the program extremely difficult and infuriating when it's such a simple feature that works in every other basic program.

11. shift command does not work for scaling

    I think others have had this problem but I can't find a current stream. I can not scale proportionately an image or text by holding the Shift and Command keys and dragging. I am running CC 15.1.2 I tried to revert back to the previous version with no luck. I tried this with a couple of versions. Is there an issue with IOS 10.15.6? I think that just updated as well.

12. Unable to drag & drop images within text frame through custom plugin on Indesign CC2020

    We have a custom plugin, we are using this plugin since Indesign CS4. We have an option to drag & drop images from this plugin pallet into Indesign Layout. With the latest CC2020 SDK, we have upgraded our plugin from CC18 to CC2020 & it works fine on all other functionality except "Drag & drop" within text frame.

    We didn't made any update to the code, the same option works fine till CC2019. Is there any known issue with CC2020 sdk for drag & drop?

    Note: Drag & drop Images from custom plugin into Text Frame. Center Point is not Accepted the drag & drop image.But to place the image at left top corner of the image frame, also the mouse pointer get transforms into "T" instead of "+" symbol, when we drag over text frame.

14. Stroke Drawing Order | Row Strokes In Front issue

    Hi everyone,

    I'm facing a problem in indesign and I assume this should be reported as a bug unless someone has a solution to it, so…

    I work with a lot of tables, and sometimes, for more lisibility, I have a insert "gutters" to table columns (actually it's white right strokes on my cells), sometimes it's just the client who wants them everywhere on tables. Anyway, there's a great feature in table styles that let me decide whether the row stroke is above the column stroke or the other way.

    it works perfectly when choosing Column Strokes In Front, every rows are "cut" by column borders, even the first and last one. But when I need the first and last rows not to be cut bye choosing Row Strokes In Front, there's still a little part of the row that is cut by my column gutter, here's an example attached to this message.

    I thought at first that it was just a displayed issue, like we often have in acrobat with tiny details, but the problem is still here when printing the table.

    Is there something I could do or it's a known problem from indesign?

    For information, I tried to change the weight of both strokes to see if it does change something, but it doesn't.

15. Indd-generated QR code disappears in Print-PDF

    When exporting a print pdf, a qr code that has been generated within inDesign does not appear in the pdf. There is not even an empty box. It seems the pdf export is somehow inaccurate when it comes to qr codes that have been generated in Indd.

16. Master pages populate page panel in wrong order

    When dragging more than one master page to the pages panel, the masters populate in descending order instead of ascending order (for example, Masters A, B, C populate in pages panel as C, B, A.)

    I'm able to consistently replicate this error on two different computers running different versions (INDD 15.0.3 and 15.1.1)

17. I can't change dictionary settings from German

    Hi – I have tried to change my (inherited) document spelling several ways to English (UK). It's saying in the all the right places that it's English (UK) but then when I spell check the document it's showing German 2006 reform. Can anyone help me change it, or is it a bug? Thank you.

18. Hide Frame Edges Keyboard Shortcut is Not Working

    Mac OS Catalina 10.15.6
    Adobe InDesign 15.1.2
    Expected result: The keyboard shortcut (Control + Command + H) is supposed to show and hide frame edges.
    Actual result: The keyboard shortcut does not work. I've tried quitting InDesign and restarting. I've tried shutting down my Macbook and restarting. The keyboard shortcut still does not work.

19. Last updated stays on 'this week'.

    My version is 15.1.2

    It seemed to work before, but the 'timestamp' when I click on Update Link remains 'this week'. I remember before it said something like 'X minutes ago'.

20. RTL quote reverse

    The right and left single and double quotes (U+2018, U+2019, U+201C, U+201D) are displaying (and outputting) reversed in InDesign 14 and 15 when bringing in RTL text. I see no way via a style or setting to fix them, I can only use the wrong ones to make them look correctly. It is not only difficult to fix, but it introduces an opportunity for error, means I am editing the text supplied by my client (something that is very bad policy for us), and makes my file underlyingly inaccurate for archiving.
    In the attached screenshot, you can seen the the right double quotation mark U+201D highlighted. It is facing to the left in InDesign and (properly) to the right in the Tasmeem add-in tool.
