This is so strange.. When I want to open a file in the window there is no date anymore. So how to see which file is the latest one you worked on? I resetted preferences, but still it only shows: name-size-kind-date added... And i can not find a way to get a view options panel for this. any help?

Resize Pages Tool does not work
The resize pages tool does not work. The page size always jumps back to its initial size. You always have to enter the size manually. Also the resizing from an anchor point of the page does not work properly. Especially elements outside the artboard (for example in the info section) don't place accordingly.

some lines in textbook can no longer be read, whole line blacked out in Indesign 15.1.2
After updating to InDesign 15.1.2
some lines in some text boxes are blacked out, text cannot be read anymore
I used Arial. A few other fonts show the text, but do not remove black line of unused text.
I can make text white, it will then show up on black background.

column guides
Column guides don't keep the gutters consistent. When changing the guides from 2 to 3 columns with a gutter at 4mm the gutter changes to 4.33mm, WHY???

Different views when switching between preview and normal mode
Strange behavior. I recently switched between preview and normal mode and InDesign showed me an older version of the document.
Most recent MacOS and InDesign Version.

BUG with master text frames, master pages and "allow pages to shuffle"
Hello,
Latest Indesign CC on Windows 10 64bits.
I have a document, with a master page template applied to all pages in the document. There are master text frames inside the master page template, perfectly aligned with the margins on each left, and right page. In my master page template, I have set up the following margins for left pages :
top : 46pt
bottom : 46pt
outside : 56pt

To identify the cause of this issue, we had started our investigation with the aim to resolve it. You might have also received an email from us seeking more details to help in our investigation.
We’ve concluded our investigation and came up with the finding: Either the issue is fixed in the latest release of InDesign or the issue was intermittent in nature at the time of its reporting and is not reproducible now.
We recommend you to upgrade to the latest version of InDesign 2020 (if you’re not already on it). It contains a lot of stability fixes.

discrepancy with the unit of measurement v15.1.2 on macOS Mojave v10.14.6
There is a discrepancy with the unit of measurement. Even tho it is set up to inches, the "new document" dialog box keeps the bleed, margins, and gutter in millimeters.

Page number underline
Page numbering with underline aligned left and centre has a horizontal offset underline. Only aligned right seems to be working correctly.

insert Previous or Next page number does not work
insert Previous or Next page number does not work. I want to have folios of "Pages 1 and 2" where I need to have the next page#. Inserting a marker (previous page or Next page results in the current page number.

11 votesThe proper way to use this feature has been explained. It works like this:
The extra text frame (containing the Previous/Next Page Number) need not be linked to the text frame to which it refers. It just has to touch that text frame.
The way this feature works is that you have a text frame that contains some text on a certain page. That text continues on a different page that is random. So, for example, in a magazine, you have an article that starts on page 11, and then it continues on page 80. In that case, you will create a separate text frame on page 11, make it touch the text frame that contains the article and put "Continued on Page . Similarly, on page 80, you will create a separate text frame and make it touch the article and put "Continued from Page .

Page numbering is broken
Since the latest update (InDesign 15.1.2) you can no longer change the page numbering to roman numerals or a, b, c etc. When you make a new section and change the style of numbering system - nothing changes. You can also not make a page have a new number - for example change page 10 to page 20, it will remain as page 10. These are very important features of InDesign and need to be fixed as soon as possible.

drag to layer
drag to layer is not working right... when i have 5 layers (for example) and i want drag an object from layer 2 to 5 it seems tot work but after select the moved object its now in layer 3?

primary text frames threading is not honored on document pages
- Adobe InDesign 15.0.1 x64 (Windows 10)
- Facing pages document. I create a master page that includes two text frames per page--creating a two column spread on each page. I designate the leftmost frame as the primary text frame, and then manually link it to the frame just to its right. ruler guide disappears when deselecting
When dragging a new ruler guide, it disappears after deselecting it. This only occurs when you've placed it on a major gridline.

Background colour is being adding to table when I go to edit
Since Indesign 2020 installation in July when I go to edit in a table that has colored borders, this colour then appears in the background and it is hard to make changes as you can't read the text.
How can I stop this happening?

Save functions unavailable
I'm using a Mac and running Catalina, have ID 2020. Yesterday, an existing file of 33 pages stopped allowing me to save it. I had no idea it wasn't saving and lost hours worth of work by the time I realized what was happening. I tried starting a new document and pasting the text into it, but same problem. I started a new document again and it allowed me to save immediately, but the second I dropped in text (different text this time), I lost the ability to save the file. I can export to PDF or IDML, but cannot…

automatic page numbering
InDesign 2020 - I can no longer get automatic page numbers. When I insert special characters>marks>current page number on the master page, it inserts two 'ss' and won't insert an 'A' for the page number? I have copied an automatic page number from an old file and pasted it into this new one I'm working on, and it works OK. Has anyone else got any experience of this? What's your work around or solution?

Pages palette bug
Hello,
You will find a file in the attachment, please open it. Now open the page palette. Now try moving the pages in the correct order of the numbers by moving the thumbnails. You will not succeed!
I reported this bug over a year ago and it still isn't fixed! (Indesign version 15.5.5)Edit: Unfortunately I cannot attach an Indesign file. Please provide me with an email address so that I can send you the file.
