  1. "Allow Selected Spread to Shuffle" behavior in Page Panel is opposite

    About Page Panel menu, "Allow Selected Spread to Shuffle".
    When you check here, you can’t shuffle pages. You need to be off the check to shuffle. It's contrary to content.
    I hope this will be fixed to "Not Allow Selected Spread to Shuffle".

  3. Links appears OK but doesn't work when exporting in pdf

    Using Indesign 2023 18.0 on macOs Ventura 13.6

    I have my portfolio file correctly packed and well organized, everytime i open my idml file to make modifications, the link panel appears all OK but i cannot export because of this same links.
    I found a solution is to re-import every files one by one, but i cannot do this anymore, it's too long and this need to be fixed.

  4. Indesign 18.5 on MAC 13.5.2_conflicting fonts

    Why am I getting different results than the clients pdf?

    Using same fonts as client. The word IMPACT REPORT is different when I export it.

    The clients font is Gotham Bold but when I open the Indesign, the font shows up as Gotham Distress even though I don't have that font in my Document font folder.

    inDesign 18.3.0.50 often impossible to save document. Very annoying because to continue I'm forced to close the file / application and therefore I lose all the changes.

  6. Place (cmd+D) can't see tagged folders on mac

    Place command (cmd+D) can't see the tagged folders, so i can't find my documents quickly as it should be...

    All other commands (export cmd+E for exemple) allow me to navigate from my tagged folders.

    Please add the same option to place command.

  8. Negative values needed size and position options in Object Style

    Currently, you cannot set negative values for the Size and Position Options inside of Object Styles.

    This is an obvious error because sometimes, you need a class of objects to bleed. For example, I would like a ImageFullpage style that I could use to set images that bleed on all four sides.

    This requires that they be positioned at -0.125 x and 0.125 y.

    Also, an ImageCaption style that sets a caption on top of an image should allow me to use -y: .125. When combined with the bottom reference point and the from: "group" option (another request), it would…

  9. window gets stuck at the bottom

    I'm on the latest version of Dreamweaver v.18 on Mac Ventura 13.4.1
    Everytime I zoom in the window gets stuck at the bottom and stops scrolling. I can scroll left and right but not up.. I have attached a screenrecording .. Please help

  10. Preflight showing overset text on non-visible layer

    Whether I have Visible Layers or Visible and Printable Layers selected in the Preflight Options, preflight still shows as having specific overset text despite layer being unchecked for visibility (ie layer is not visible)

  11. Unable to relink more than one image at a time

    Cannot relink more than one image at a time in InDesign 18.2.1 (2023) even when "search for missing links in this folder" box is ticked. Therefore I have to import each image individually, which is time consuming. Has anyone else come across this annoying problem at all?

  12. When deleting or adding one single page in the middle of a facing page document, the images in the pages that follow will shift of misalign

    INDD V.18.2.1 (it applies to V17 too)
    Hi developers, this is a long-lasting problem n it really affects work flow.

    In a multiple facing page document, if you delete or add one single left or right hand page (in my example it's p.36), all the images in the pages that follow will shift in their positions. And if you add one page, then delete that page, the images will not go back to their original position. Allow document or spread to shuffle is checked. This is a MAJOR issue when you are working on document over 100 pages.

  13. Duplicated page removes some character styles

    Duplicating a page removed some character styles in my document. Only on half the page though.

    Super weird bug, tbh.

    Your site does not allow uploading indesign files (!) but I can supply it upon request.

    It'd be better if that were not a public upload :)

  14. Unable to see Preset Templates in New Document

    When I try to open a New Document and find a template, all I can see are black boxes with a description. If I click on Preview I do not get one. Please see screenshot. How can I fix this?

  15. Cannot order Parent Pages

    In InDesign 2023 (v18.0) on an Intel Apple (macOS Monterey 12.6.1) it is impossible to reorder Parent Pages. This is possible in earlier versions. Please fix.

  16. Descendant Report

    descendent over run the original person at more generations. This does not happen all the time, but occasionally. I uploaded first page and last page to illustrate. Didn't mean to load them multiple times I didn't realize I was doing it at first then I couldn't erase them. Hope this is not a dumb question sometimes I have a hard time explaining myself.

  18. Major delay when changing page via the page up/down or double-clicking on the page icon

    Major delay when changing page via the page up/down or double-clicking on the page icon. Usually happens when you have first opened a document. For example when you apply the keyboard command Opt-Pagedown, the icon on the bottom left of the screen immediately shows the page has changed but nothing happens. Sometimes it wont redraw the new page until you click on the screen and this only works after some time has passed (approx 6-8 seconds after). This was always instant in previous versions. My settings for view are on >Typical and I have Type Contextual Control set to >OFF.

  19. Wörterbuch InDesign Deutsch -2006 neue Rechtschreibung 18.2.1. x64

    Wenn ich die Neue Deutsche Rechtschreibung ab 2006 für meine Dokumente einstelle, springt die Einstellung beim Wort selbst (rechte Maustaste) jedes mal zurück auf die alte Rechtschreibung. Egal was ich versuche - diese Einstellung wird nicht im Dokument abgespeichert.

  20. Return the use of "master pages" instead of "parent pages"

    In the latest version Adobe decided that their job was to educate us to speak proper language, which is why the word "master pages" was replaced with "parent pages".
    We do not find any problem with the phrase "master pages" and believe that it is not Adobe's role to dictate policy according to progressive agendas.
    We demand to return to the previous concept of "master pages".
    The term "parent pages" is confusing and misleading, with all the documentation of the software on the web for 2 decades referring to master pages.
